I placed a mobile order at around 5:30 am or so on Friday July 18, 2025. When I got to the store I saw that there was a drive-thru window. I mistakenly drove up to the drive-thru window, instead of going into the store. The lady at the drive-thru window lectured me that, you can’t just drive up to the window just like. When I told her if she would rather that I go inside to pick up my coffee and sandwich. She once again lectured me in a stern voice “We are just trying to educate you sir”, closed the window and walked away without saying anything else. I know that she was going to get my coffee and sandwich, but I kind of lost my appetite, and drove away (even though I had already paid for my order) and went down the street to McDonald’s. I felt that I was lectured to like I was a child. I am very sorry to be writing a review like this as Starbucks is my go to place all over the world. I have always for decades had excellent services with Starbucks, until today. I guess that there is always a first time for everything. All and all, Starbucks’ associates still give excellent services.

Hello! I've been meaning to leave this review for some time now, but life tends to get away from me. That said, I wanted to take a moment to truly thank this Starbucks location. There have been some recent changes, and I’ve definitely noticed — in the best way.
From the moment I walk in, I’m always greeted with a cheerful “Welcome in!” and bright, genuine smiles. Even on days when I’m feeling off, that small gesture makes me feel seen. And really, isn’t that why many of us venture out to places like this — for a bit of comfort and connection?
On one of my recent visits, they were out of my go-to drink: matcha. But a lovely young woman, whose name I believe was Jackie, helped me find a new favorite. Instead of leaving me to stare at the busy overhead menu, she kindly walked me through some great alternatives. She was patient, polite, and incredibly helpful — the kind of person who’s clearly meant to work with people. I could tell she genuinely cared.
Jackie took my order and made the drink herself, which I thought was impressive. It looked like there was another staff member working the drive-thru, so I do hope to see a bit more support for the afternoon shifts. Still, despite the busyness, the café was clean, organized, and well-managed.
One small suggestion — if possible, I’d love to see a swap for more comfortable seating. The hard chairs aren’t too friendly for those of us getting up there in age. Sitting is a joy, but not so much on stiff furniture!
All in all, thank you, Starbucks, for continuing to deliver great service and for hiring people like Jackie, who make the experience even more enjoyable. I’m sure the rest of the team is just as lovely. That’s all from me for now — see you soon!

Terrible the last 2 visits will not be returning. Why work as a Barista if you not going to do right? My matcha latter was powdered water.

This used to be my preferred location on Union Ave, until today when I encountered an unprofessional experience with the manager on duty the morning of 2/25/2025. I placed a mobile order, the app stated that the order would be ready around 8:17am, I joined the drive thru line around 8:15am. I patiently waited, and was given an item with bad quality. The cashier instructed me to pull around and park in the first handicapped parking spot, as I do not have a handicap permit, I parked in a different spot and decided to go into the cafe.
Upon entry, the manager immediately began to shout at me “Janeva, give us a few minutes before joining the line”, in a cafe full of people.
See the issue is I didn’t mind mind waiting, I wasn’t in a rush, so I tried explaining to her well the app stated the order would be ready at 8:17am, I joined two minutes prior, however time wasn’t an issue and I didn’t make a fuss about my drink order not being accurate, she cut me off turned her back to me and proceeded to do what she was doing while repeating “yeah just give us more time”. A few of the baristas and cashiers gave me a grin and a “I’m sorry for her actions” and told me to have a great day.
Not only was this experience unprofessional, it was also embarrassing.
I tried calling the cafe a few times after leaving to get the managers name, but I didn’t receive an answer.

I usually never go to this location because they make our drinks wrong, and they are so RUDE! I always go to the one down the street. But the drive through at the other one has been closed, so I had no other choice but to come to this one. And now I remember why. I get a coffee everyday, and at this one they made it HORRIBLE! I don’t think they even put flavor in it. I didn’t go back or call because I refuse to deal with their attitudes again. The girl at the drive thru and the one who took my order has an attitude from hell. I tried to let it go, but their attitudes are so rude, and unwelcoming Won’t be back. Will stick driving further to a more nice one, or will just not get my coffee that day.. it takes nothing to be nice..

Parking lit is trashy. There is napkins silverwear plastic debris etc all collecting between side entrance and drive through. It is in midtown. Drive through is the slowest of any starbucks that i frequesnt. Coffee is fairly standard so nothing to say about my drink. Just location.

Horrible coustomer service in the drive through, didn't record our order correctly and then got upset with us when when asked them to rectify it. Very short and standoffish demeanor throughout the whole experience. I've had some ok experiences here but the new staff they hired needs better training and guidance on how to work a customer facing job.

These folks are so freaking amazing!! I’ve been under the weather and made a couple of runs to the drive thru for a certain tea that only they can make. A tea that I know from online lore employees groan when ordered. The staff realized it was me, and that I wasn’t feeling well, and went above and beyond to take care of me! I sat in my car and cried like a baby, it was that special. Keep up the good work! ??

Not very professional, did not greet us at the driveway and ask what we would like was just like "hello? Ma'am?" Didn't ask for a name for our order. Took a long time even to just take our payment. Drinks were good
