Close this raggedy half-a** location down!! They NEVER get any orders correct. There is no purpose for them to be open. Simple, plain English instructions CAN NOT be followed. Either the entire staff is incompetent and illiterate OR they simply don't care. You can spend your money better at Burger King....at least you can and will have it your way! Close them down!!

So glad to experience a Steak Escape that wasn't located in a mall!!!! Same great taste and I like the bowl offerings and the different loaded fry options! Fast and great service. Just wish they used more meat tho

Smallest sandwich I've ever gotten at a steak escape. No chicken. Card reader didn't work. Waited 10 minutes after my sandwich was done before the fries were ready. For $12 I expect alot more.

Sometimes old fries are "re cooked". Just ask for fresh fries every time.

Myself and pregnant fiance came here expecting good service. Instead we get in and after our order is taken we have to wait until the order placed after ours is done to receive our food. All because the owner was flirting with the customer behind us. PISS POOR BUSINESS ETIQUETTE

I've just recently moved into this area and decided to check out this place for myself . To my surprise , it's actually really good . I believe they've gotten new management and it really shows in the quality of the food and cleanliness of the restaurant . I know the manager really well and he is a very kind person . I realize how negative all the past reviews look , but I don't see any examples of that now . 5/5 WOULD RECOMMEND

Steak Escape food is pretty consistent but this location leaves much to be desired in quality and service. I waited 22 minutes for a sandwich when there was no one in front of me to order. I won't be back soon.

Ok, so I went to Steak Escape yesterday early in the day. Only one other couple was there, but, they had already paid and we're just waiting on their sandwiches. My husband and I came in and stood in front of the cash register, ready to be assisted. There were two guys working, one guy was finishing the first couple's order, and the other guy saw us and immediately said, "I'll be right with yall". So, cool, right? Wrong....this dude was doing everything but taking our order. The only other couple is being helped, we're just standing there waiting to be helped....so what does he do? Decides to wipe down the f****** counter! So, we're just standing there, looking at one another, like, are you seriously just gonna wipe down this damn counter like it's priority number 1 and not take our orders? Oh ok.....so we give him another minute, because, it's one of my husband's fave places. No, this derp, then decides to randomly look for other s*** to do, like, restocking the ketchup packages and other b******* a** projects that could've been handled during the last f****** 15 minutes of his shift. The s*** was so blatantly rude, we had to leave at this point. I was so pissed. DON'T GO TO THE STEAK ESCAPE ON WINCHESTER. BAD BUSINESS, SHITTY CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you're craving Steak Escape, your best bet is to go to the one in the Wolfchase Mall, excellent service .
I saw the reviews for this place and just wanted to check this place out for myself... I wanted a Philly cheesesteak and was recommended to try this place. Some people say the staff was rude.. I don't see it... Some people get upset that it's not clean.. well it was clean when I got there.. And some people said they didnt feel safe... But the location is busy and within a plaza... Went here for the first time and was surprised it was so dead so early in the evening. Right when we walked in, they grabbed our orders and started cooking so quickly! The staff members were very friendly and inviting. The place is clean and well stocked with straws and lids. The location is within a plaza and right next to Kroger which is convenient so I don't have to go grocery shopping hungry.. because we all know the outcome of going grocery shopping hungry... Overall the Philly cheesesteak was delicious! The cook was super friendly and accommodating with all the questions I had. The sandwich was filled with several toppings that I had asked for which was awesome because most places get stingy with the amount of toppings they give you. He also didn't drench my sandwich is mayo like most places which made this sandwich that much better! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a real greasy and filling Philly cheesesteak sandwich!

The kids in the cup lid dispenser had dried Coke drops on them. How freaking disgusting is that!?!" I have a star because the guy making the sandwich was nice...though the ear phones implied what is most important. Drive down to Houston Levee Rd and see how a Steak Escape is supposed to be. Post script : I would have been better off it I went to McD's and ate a ton of fried ick than eaten the sandwich from this place. Pepto Bismol was of only minor assistance.

What a major let down. I only went because I had a gift certificate. I got the Grand Steak sandwich. Should be called the grand bread only sandwich. I asked for the mushroom, onions, and peppers. I received none. This place wasn't picture worthy. They had no ketchup. They fries weren't even cooked all the way. Just avoid this place. Don't waste your money. If I could give a place 0 stars, this place would get it.

This place is ok. Service was fast. They have really great fries (yum). I thought the cheesesteak was a little skimpy and dry. I've had much better for sure. I may go back just to see what else they have since it's so close to my place. I'd stop just for the fries though...

Oh my god. The most backass, scary, place. The two people who worked there can not speak proper English. Yelling at each other about their phones and music. I was scared to eat here but the people who I was with wanted to. I mean scared as in do they know what the hell they are doing? And they didn't have anything I asked for even though it was on their menu. Someone needs to revamp this trashy garbage hole.
