A diner with typical breakfast plates, in large portions. But the food is actually very good and tasty!
You order at the counter but then they bring the plates to your table. Non-nonsense place, nice decorated, pleasant atmosphere.

Overall this place is overrated. I hate doing this to a local restaurant but I just don’t get the appeal. The biscuits are good and maybe going on the weekend is a better option when I can drink, but this is not a business breakfast place. Food is just okay. Biscuits are good!

Sorry, no pictures this time……. I was hungry and once the three huge, fluffy pancakes were delivered with the thick bacon, I just couldn’t hold back!! Sharing between my wife and I was 3 nearly plate sized pancakes, two eggs, two big pieces of bacon and we also got Queen’s oatmeal. We got a heck of a lot more than expected and the price was great. And let’s not forget the coffee—- bold flavor, and hot! (Lukewarm coffee is never good)
Make the trip here for breakfast and leave full and satisfied!!

Excellent breakfast options, a great vibe, and wonderful music! The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax, enjoy good food, and start the day on a positive note. I’m visiting from New Orleans, and I loved it so much that I came here three out of the four mornings I was in town for breakfast! Highly recommend!

I have visited this location several times,but after today I left slightly annoyed and a little confused. I do understand yall do get busy. Today however we brought our 2 dogs. Like we always do. So we found a table outside. I went in and grabbed some menus so we could decide what we wanted to order without standing in line with dogs. I then decided to walk in and grab some drinks from the bar. Which I did ask the people at the bar if I was able to before ordering food and they said no problem. I then went back to the table with the 2 dogs and person I was with to continue to decide what to try this time. Well the drinks got delivered and the man who delivered the drinks wanted us to get up and leave because we hadn’t ordered food. He said plain and simple we couldn’t hold a table if we weren’t going to eat. However I just spent 30.00 on drinks from the bar. Were we supposed to stand and suck them down real quick and leave? We even explained that we’re were still deciding and were going to go stand in line. He seemed extremely agitated. So I got up and got in line to order food. He then followed me. And started talking to someone behind me about how everyone is from all over and wants to eat there. Ok. Cool. So you rather just support people all over and not your local customers? Thats what’s important? NOT the possible repeat customers from down the street? OK. So why would I want to promote local people supporting you? There are a ton of breakfast places in Memphis. And I could leave the dogs at home. And honestly the food is mediocre. And I rather spend me 130.00 PLUS TIP somewhere else.

I did a lot of research about the best breakfast in Memphis. Sunrise is where I went. This place truly has the best breakfast in Memphis! The food and service was so amazing I can’t brag enough about this place

This place runs like a well oiled machine. They've been busy, with a line out the door every time we've gone but everyone has a smile on their face and getting that food out in record time. You order at the counter and they bring everything to your table. (I recommend checking out the menu online before going because that line moves quick!)

It may sound cheesy but this place is what community should look like. People from all walks of life coming together to enjoy some amazing food. If you're in Memphis, you gotta give this place a try!!
