W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L in case you didn't get that, let me say it again. W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L. The service. The atmosphere. The food is OUTSTANDING. Let me start with those grits. Until now, I had yet to find a restaurant that knew how to cook grits. Sunrise, whew! They can cook some grits!!!!! The pancakes are beyond flavorful and syrup is not necessary for flavor sake. The rooster sandwich was perfect. The chicken was fried perfectly, the biscuit was fluffy yet strong enough...
This is one of the best breakfasts in Memphis. We went on a Sunday morning and everyone was so friendly and kind, welcoming us as soon as we walked in. The food came out so quickly, which is great for hungry kids and all of the food was so delicious for a reasonable price. We will definitely be back soon!
When traveling outside of Michigan, I always look for local restaurants. This is my new number one place to eat! Best breakfast I’ve ever had. The friendliest staff and most delicious food!
