I should know better than to go anywhere besides Osaka but I did and now here we are. Terrible service. I ordered their garlic and sriracha edamame, thinking it would be similar to what I've had at Stix. No, this was definitely not it. It was so hot. I barely ate two. Then, when the server finally decides to show her face, we asked us to bring our checks and I told her that it was so spicy I couldn't even eat it. I said to her, this is not sriracha and she tells me oh, yeah it's dipped in chili red flakes and points to a bottle on our table that was out of my view. I saw the bottle and I said wow really. No wonder, it's unbearable. Next time maybe, write that on the menu or tell people it's chili red flake sauce not sriracha. What a waste of my money and time.

This is my boyfriend's and my favorite restaraunt in Memphis. Hands down the best sushi in Memphis. We spent a long time feeling disappointed with the mediocre Asian restaurants in the area. When we found sushi jimmi, we knew we found our place. The menu has a lot of really unique and really delicious options in addition to a large menu of well priced, and very delicious sushi. (There are also a ton of other entrees that are not sushi.) We love the kimchi fries as an appetizer. We also love the sushi burritos. We have tried all of them and they are all delicious, but I especially recommend the Geisha Girl. The sushi's presentation is beautiful and the different options are delicious. Sushi jimmi has just expanded their menu with the all of the "secret menu items" and some of the temporary specials on the permanent menu now. This visit, we tried the kimchi balls to start. My boyfriend ordered the Geisha Girl sushi burrito and I ordered the Red Dragon. We typically come to Sushi Jimmi for date nights. We like the vibe a lot. It's nice, but it's also really reasonably priced. This is a good choice for vegetarians and vegans also. They have byob with no bottle fee too! We have come on Valentine's Day for dinner and I wore a dress and heels, but we've also come in wearing jeans and T-shirt's. The servers are all really nice and have been with the restaurant for a while so they're knowledgeable about the place. We are sooo happy the restaurant is back open! When we heard it closed, we were so sad. When we found out it reopened I did a literal jump for joy. The chef is so talented; I recommend this restaurant to everyone we know.

One of my favorite sushi spots in Memphis. Cheap, pretty good tasting sushi. And killer kimchi fries! I was lucky enough to discover this place when I first moved here three years ago. Sadly they had to close, but I know whatever Jimmy decides to do in his next savory endeavor it will be successful.

Food is good. However I placed an ordered from door dash and about an hour later I get a call saying they are closed. So I called the restaurant and I get a rude employee that just answered and says “hello†so I have to ask if they are closed and they just say “we areâ€. So why answer the phone? Must not have been closed.

This is my FAVORITE sushi place in town. I moved across town and drove out here today to enjoy a fantastic sushi burrito. The service has always been good and the food outstanding. When I went today i had a great time as always. Our waitress was Kim and we always had drinks and our food came out fast- but what really stood out was the table behind us were extremely difficult and rude to her. As someone who has worked in a restaurant I have definitely experienced some less than pleasant people, but she had a great attitude the whole time and was nothing but respectful. It made me second hand angry to watch people be so hateful for no reason but I was really impressed about how everything was handled! I will always be back and enjoy the food and I hope Kim sticks around because she was awesome and her positivity is not unnoticed!
