Enjoyed the Frittata. Very delicious. Sweet Grass was a great Bar/ Restaurant in Cooper Young. 04.17.22 was the last day of operation. Gonna miss it!

The food was delicious! HOWEVER!!! There was a dog walking around like a person. I love dogs!! But, I dont want a dog under my table while I am eating. I was terrified that the dog was under my table and followed me to the bathroom. Disgusting and unsanitary

Staff was nice, but I had a hair in my food. They took care of it, but makes me wonder if kitchen staff is wearing hairnets.

Food: 3/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Comments: nice day in the city so we decided to stop here for brunch. Kinda bummed they didn't have outdoor seating. Our server was very nice, and I felt bad for her since it seems like she was the only one working that day. Got the Badass nachos since there were a few pics of them and...meh. I wasn't completely underwhelmed, but they got the job done in terms of curbing my hunger.

Very hospitable staff.I was able to find couple items without any meat and eggs and thats a blessing for vegetarians in Memphis.Tried the General so Cauliflower, fettuccine Alfredo and butternut squash bisque.Though the portions might seem small initially but as and when you delve in you realize it's so much filling.Kudos to the chef and my pretty, hospital and amazing host.

We took a trip to Memphis and were looking for true southern food. From the way Google portrayed this place I thought we’d have a winner but were left short. No oysters ? My drink was super strong. My shrimp and grits was missing flavor and were extremely salty. Shrimp was good. He ordered the flank steak and was disappointed by the serving size. The redemption was by far the desserts! We ordered both the peanut butter pie and the deep dish sour cream and apple pie. The peanut butter pie was definitely decadent and creamy. Surprisingly it wasn’t too rich, which we appreciated. The Apple pie was definitely the star! The apples were still firm but sliced thinly, the topping was a perfectly sweetened and spiced. Both press were HUGE! If I have one recommendation it is to go for dessert!Staff was super sweet and I hope they can tweak the seasoning and add to the actual food menus. In the end we did not feel that this meal was worth the $100 price tag.

It's not what it used to be! Everything was too spicy, or sriracha heavy, though the pulled pork and brisket in the dishes were tender and flavorful. Drinks were fine, though I think they added soda water to my drink when I didn't ask for it. We will be back next year.

Definitely not what I expected, didn't quite fit a date night vibe, but more so sports bar with friends. My husband and I were disappointed with the menu. We thought about ordering the nachos but after seeing the ginormous dish walk by us to another table, we decided to opt out as neither of us would finish it. We settled with an arugula salad and the pimento burger. Both lacked flavor. Our drinks also took forever to get refills. The wait staff is very friendly and answered all our questions, but somewhat slow.

Great service and GREAT food! The hostess also helped serve us and she was as SWEET as could be. LOVED the veggie platter. The General Tao Cauliflower was the best. Nachos were ginormous and Shrimp & Grits were awesome. Will definitely come back.

Sweet Grass recently catered my mom's celebration of life service. The service Sweet Grass provided up until and through the event was professional and courteous. Special thanks to Marissa for providing a great menu! I didn't change a thing. All of the guests raved about the selections and said that it was the best "funeral food" they have ever had. You guys rock.

love the drinks, bar and vibe but the food is always below average when we order food, not to mention expensive for said food! also note that every time the servers walk away with dishes they are full of food! someone needs to have a chat with kitchen staff about flavor!

Great food and service! Our evening started with the BA nachos, they were just okay, a bit on the bland side but extremely filling. My husband ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich, he said it was good but had a bit too much sauce. Our guest had the fish and the other, the steak. My friend who ordered the steak had to contain himself from ordering another. He said it was spot on perfect. I ordered the burger but I was too full from the nachos to eat it that day however, my side of fries were the best fries I've ever had! They were so fresh, with a hint of natural sweetness, amazing! I'll come again for the fries alone! The next day I had my burger for lunch and it was so delicious! The meat was tender and very well seasoned, yummy! Our server was very polite and attentive. We'll certainly be back again when in the area and highly recommend giving them a try.

Went there with my wife and two 10-year-old boys on a Friday night and was very impressed. My wife had many vegetables that were prepared in curious and delicious ways; I had the scallops and they were perfect. The horseradish deviled eggs were tremendous. And the oysters. So damn good, if not exactly huge (at least the dozen that we got). What they lacked in sheer size they made up for in briny goodness, and on special during happy hour -- that's a solid win. Finally, there is no kids menu -- and honestly I wouldn't call this a "kids" kind of place -- but they'll hook you up with some non-menu items like a burger and fries or grilled cheese or even chicken tenders, so if you *have* to bring kids like we did, it's fine (long as the little nits behave).Overall great experience and we'll definitely be back.

Ryan Trim has been working so hard and sweet grass has evolved. Best thing - go for the prime rib stay for the pie. The prime rib is the Sunday special 35 bucks with potato. It is a nicely seasoned really cooked prime rib. Yum. The apple pie is mile high with very thin apples in a lush dish. Keep up the good work chef and team
