This was my first time to visit Takashi. I wanted to try several dishes. We ordered a variety of appetizers that were all delicious, and my main entrée was the steaming hot Clay Pot Shrimp, with a blend of flavors bathing the shrimp, noodles, and vegetables. It tasted like a warm hug. The service and atmosphere were friendly and welcoming.

my server was great. my food was really good, i had the red snapper with rice & veggies. the miso soup was really good as well. my fiance had the drunken noodles - VERY good. the downtown roll was really good as well. the drunken noodles and the downtown roll had some spice to it, but it was really good. i will be back.

I called to place an order for pickup. When I arrived to pick up the order, they attempted to charge me a gratuity. I was not told about this when placing the order so I refused and was refunded. Do not charge the customer for a pickup order when no service was provided. The manager claimed it was for the kitchen staff, waiters, and hostess. It is not the customer’s responsibility to supplement your wages. The cost of preparing the meal (kitchen staff) and taking the order (hostess) is a part of the cost of the food and is the business’s responsibility. I don’t know why the manager mentioned waiters for a pickup order. Tip culture is out of control.

Across the board, Takashi delivers. The staff is personable, accommodating, and just plain good at what they do. My wife being celiac, it’s hard to find places that can accommodate a gluten-free diet, but Takashi is not only very aware of gluten allergies, but can alter certain aspects of a dish to help accommodate! And most importantly, the food is phenomenal. The portion sizes are generous, the quality shows in the freshness of the food, and the taste isn’t matched. Will always be one of my go-to’s.

Takashi Bistro has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat! The food is consistently delicious every single time I visit - I especially LOVE the yellow curry. The service is just as impressive as the food. Servers are always super friendly and attentive. I’ve never had a single issue with my order, and it’s always come out perfect. Highly recommend Takashi’s if you’ve never been!!

Mid food. While the pieces were generous, they all tasted like fridge, aka freezer burnt. The miso tasted watered down, and the salad had a weird bitter taste in the dressing. Rolls were decent tho. Can’t really expect much from sushi in Tennessee.
Cocktails though, delicious! Would recommend.

After I finished up my massage at Massage Envy which is a few doors down from this restaurant, I was going to head to a restaurant by my home that I frequent, but instead I walked down to the Takashi Bistro to sit down and eat. It felt great being welcomed by my server Morgan from beginning to end. Morgan was soooo professional and very attentive, you can that she wanted to be at work because she smiled every time she dropped by my table to check on me, all I can say is, every restaurant need a Morgan! The atmosphere was clean, and the dining tables setup was simple but very elegant and they had great chilled relaxing music playing in the background. The food was delicious!!! I did not get a chance to meet the chef personally but I give a big shout to their chef!!! The food was not only delicious, the presentation of the food was superb. I ordered the Gyoza for my appetizer, and I had the Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp for my entree, which included clear soup, grilled vegetables fried rice, 2 extra grilled shrimp and a salad. Everything and I mean everything was seasoned and delicious! If you like Japanese Cuisine, you definitely want to try this restaurant. I will definitely be back again, Two 👍 👍 up Takashi Bistro!
