Texas de Brazil - Memphis

Reservation for 5. Waited nearly 45 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Server seemed overwhelmed and under present. Buffet was sparsely stocked and not refreshed. Not the experience we were expecting.

service was okay the food was okay salad bar was the star really getting the meat isn't worth it honestly not seasoned

We had a very bad experience during our last visit , it was my son birthday and I decided to bring him here . None of us eat bloody meat because of our deep spiritual beliefs and the entire night we had to say no to just about everything that was brought to the table because it was practically dripping blood. We told our waiter that we definitely wanted all of our meats WELL DONE! And it was not honored. You only honor those who eat bloody meat because. We had to order additional meat .

Great experience. The servers are great! I wish they offered more sides other than potatoes.

I had been here several times more than 10 years ago and it was fabulous. However my family had a Christmas meal together and it was a disaster. They put our party of 12 in a back corner with little room to move. The server told us they didn’t have any iced tea that evening. This is the South! Whoever heard of no tea. They surely hadn’t run out as it was early in the evening. The meat carvers (whatever they’re called) came around sporadically and tried to hurry off before everyone was able to get a serving. Much of the meat was quite rare and not edible for those of us who wanted a more done cut. Our server took forever to bring drink refills. For this kind of money, we expected first rate service but didn’t get it.

We had reservations for a party of three people at 7pm, we did not get seated until 8pm, which was a little frustrating.
Once we finally got a seat, everything went smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious. They have a large salad bar, and the meat was plentiful. I pretty much eat just meat, and I was more than fully satiated by the time we left.
I'd highly recommend Texas de Brazil.

A must visit if in Memphis
Location is Awesome next to the beautiful Peabody Hotel in downtown.
Food was great & lots of options for vegans as well

Very friendly and food was excellent

We ate here on Thanksgiving day. Nice atmosphere, but the service and food were below average. Very expensive for the quality of food received. Personally, I believe there are so many better choices for restaurants in the Memphis area than Texas de Brazil. I wasn’t impressed.

My Wife and I came for her birthday. This is our second time here, and we actually came on My wife's birthday the first time. The first experience was excellent the second not so much. We had reservations for 7:45 but when we go there the line was literally out the door it took us about 20 minutes to be seated which is understandable. I didn't like my drink VIP it was horrible the taste was terrible and some servers kept avoiding our table even when our card was green and the kept say they would have the well done meat out, but it never came everything was medium. Other then that we had a great time.
