They've applied for alcohol license,don't serve alcohol yet but charge to let you bring in your own bottle. I left my bottle in the car to buy a beer or whatever they served. They currently don't serve any alcohol. I was informed that it's byob, so I get my bottle and then I get charged for bringing it in. If you sold alcohol I understand, but you don't...currently. so there's my opinion on the matter.

The environment is absolutely amazing. Super chill, not too crowded. Bar service was great and the drinks are A1. Food service was below subpar. The shrimp tacos STILL had freaking TAILS on em. The food was mediocre at best. And SLOW! I'm talking slow as cold molasses. Waited 15 minutes before we found our server (who had to be summoned). Ordered nothing but tacos, with nothing altered, and it took them 42 minutes to come out. Saw our server a grand total of 4 times in the 3 hours (live band was ???) that we were there. To order our food, to bring our food, to drop off the tab/pick up the payment, and to bring the change. It probably wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the automatic 18% gratuity on EVERY tab. So yeah, servers don't actually care... oh yeah, and they don't accept anything but cash or CashApp for payment which is odd, and mildly inconvenient, but i digress.... Will I come back here? Yes, but I will definitely eat before I arrive and will wait until a live band is going to be there. The bar and ambiance saved this trip....

The team tried this restaurant for brunch bc we were in town for an event. Two had the chicken and waffles. The other two had the fish and grits. The chicken was excellent. However, the waffles were average at best. The ladies that tried the fish were very unsatisfied. We each had a few mimosas. We are accustomed to mimosa towers for $25 being from another state. So when we get the bill, I inquired what is the custom charge for $13 on my bill. The waitress states for each mimosa. WTH!!! We didn’t understand why mimosas are so high for a brunch. We wish this business the best. However, we will not support this business the next time we visit Memphis.

Please check your food and drinks.. black stuff was in the ice and paper wrap in the chicken Philly..we ask for the manager cause the lady kitchen said we had to pay for that mistake they made. But another lady came out and told she was sorry about the paper cook with the food? .. But overall the band was good...The drinks are not worth the price and that small paper cup

The atmosphere was nice.However the waitress service was slow and the drinks we ordered were put in small cups because we were told that the bartender was new and put it in the wrong glass (?however we were charged regular price for half of the drink. I was told that management would not allow us to have another drink because the drinks were already on the table even though no one drunk out of them. When I got ready to pay instead of $12 for the alcohol drink I was charged $13 each .Too many rules uncomfortable seats on the patio and there were candles on the tables for mosquitoes was not lit!I had a very bad experience and bad customer service.?

This place is a whole vibe. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. My husband and I went for date night. The food was incredibly fresh and mouth wateringly delicious. The service was exceptional. Our waitress (Justice) was A-1. The owner was super professional and engaging. The chef in the kitchen hands were blessedly by God to do exactly what they are doing in that kitchen. Overall review for us was a 10 out of 10 all the way around.

I am so disappointed in this restaurant!!!!! My family and I pulled up at 8 o’clock and to top it off, the place never opened up! We sat outside for about 30 minutes and still the doors weren’t open. We left and then this place doesn’t have a phone number to contact anyone. How can you support black businesses, when they are not operating in a timely manner?
