This is a great restaurant for an upscale lunch. I love the lobster salad and get it every chance I can. On this visit, I paired it with the butternut squash and apple soup. Both were the delicious and the service was great. Andrew, our server, was training another server, and they both were very attentive and responsive.

The food and service were excellent! The porcini rubbed ribeye was cooked perfectly to my liking and had great flavor. The coconut cream pie was also amazing! The sides were also very good. I had the sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes.

We were excited for an early NYE dinner with friends at the Capital Grille. Unfortunately, two of three steaks were returned. One steak was cold; a member of the wait staff said it could be refired rather than bringing a new steak. It was returned over-cooked with excessive charring. After speaking with the manager who was very understanding, a new steak was cooked and served. The second steak was ordered medium but was cooked to medium well almost well. The replacement steak was prepared perfectly. Other food items were well-prepared and tasty. The drinks were exceptional. Thanks to the manager and Ingram for the exceptional service and working hard to insure we had a pleasant experience despite the challenges.

The soup was not very warm. My son's steak was very fatty especially for filet mignon and the corn was cold. Was very disappointed in the food. The service was good.

My husband and I found ourself in Memphis on Thanksgiving (didn’t realise when we booked!) Capital Grille was open so we booked. OMG! What a place. We were impressed from walking through the door. Such friendly and attentive staff. Inge (from Baltimore!) looked after us magnificently. Answered all our (many) questions about food, drink and etiquette. And gave us THE best advise about the cooking of our steaks 🙏 Mega thanks to Ingy 🙏 Wonderful bar service, great wines, amazing atmosphere and the perfect place to spend Thanksgiving Thank you to all for a fabulous experience

Best meal in USA so far. Atmosphere 10/10. Service spot on, big shout out to Ingy, knew his stuff and very entertaining. Food has a French influence but with Southern style portions and seasoning, what a combo!! Not the cheapest spot but great value for money, had a bottle of Argentinian Malbec which was very good $44 Made our first ever Thanksgiving meal in America a great experience / memory.
