Drove from Jonesboro to Memphis for this... A must visit if you are in Memphis. I got the jerked chicken Mac and cheese and green beans. My wife got the hamburger steak Mac and cheese and greens. Very nice woman took my order over the phone and brought my food to the car.

I ordered baked chicken candied yam pinto beans turnip greens and cornbread and peach cobbler OMG this was so disappointing only thing what’s ediwaz the pink lemonade fountain drink I got from circle k the food was bland nothing absolutely nothing was tasty I wouldn’t recommend this place.Parking: I just don’t know what else to say. If you can’t say nothing nice don’t say nothing at all. I plead the 5th

Lawd ham mercy! The food here is amazing. I got the fried pork chop with greens and mac and cheese and y'all I could smell the butter and seasonings from inside the bag. The mac and cheese is creamy and delicious, cooked perfectly. The greens were amazingly tender. The cornbread was perfect with a hint of sweetness. And I'm saving the best for last... that pork chop was cooked to doggone perfection, y'all. Juicy, with a nice not-too-crispy crunch. I wanna believe that it was cooked in a cast iron skillet because this pork chop looked like it looks when my mama cooked it. I am mad at myself for not knowing this place existed as I work 5 minutes away. I mean the pork chop was cooked to order y'all and not just sitting up drying out on some hot bar. Whoever cooked this I'm sorry that I only gave you a 4 dollar tip. I will do better next time. Y'all please go to this place and get you a plate. And bring me one, too. I cannot wait to go back. The only downside is that now I'm sleepy asl and still have 3 more hours to work.

Because it was well done so it was dry in the middle an it wasn't as seasoned as I'd like When I think of steak an gravy I imagine cutting my hamburger steak with my fork an it melts apart. It was more like an over cooked hamburger with gravy As for the j*** chicken my boyfriend got was great! I wanted to eat his plate but my sides were just as good to satisfy me. Definitely going back to get a giant order of greens. An I'll try the hamburger steak again just to see once more if it was just the day I came. Everything is cooked to order so calling in is a must so you won't have to wait either. But all in all I give a four because everything else was great besides that hamburger steak
