Becoming outdated and run down. The last 2 times we bowled here it took over an hour to get our food, after we were done bowling. There's no service. The automatic bumpers didn't work anymore so if you have kids it is bumpers up for everyone. Also a very low ball selection. Cool atmosphere but that's about it.

the craftmanship of the fishbowl was gorgeous and very detailed. while service was pretty slow, every host was considerate and compassionate. my friends and i ate at wahlburgers right next to the bowling alleys, and i would 10/10 recommend. their food was delicious for reasonable prices ($16 burgers).

Kid-friendliness: every lane had a bowler assistant and bumper availability- great for kids who want to be included

This place was not good at all! The seating was terrible mainly seat yourself, fight for your table kind of service. There was only two workers so barely got any service. Waiting 20 minutes for a fork to eat my food. Went for lunch didn’t leave till dinner time. Not going back!

Food was good, but the service was iffy. For every 1 employee not on their phone there had to be 6-7 others on their phones the entire time. Bartender was on a personal call the entire time.

This is a fun place to be, but I do have one major complaint— the music at 1pm on a weekend day was not kid-friendly. Nothing on the play list was edited (pop music- GD, f-bombs). How hard is it to switch up the music? Our hotel stay was great, but the store and amenities need to step up a tad to make this a place I’d return as an annual visitor.

While staying at the Big Cypress Lodge, we decided on our 1st day after check in we would take the kids bowling. We decided to bowl before dinner since we were unable to get a reservation at the lookout that evening. We called a few weeks ahead of time and told that guests at the lodge could make a reservation, but to do it closer to the time of our stay. Fast forward 3 days before we are due to arrive, I call to set the reservation, but am told absolutely no reservations, 1st come 1st serve. Mind you we are only in town for 2 nights and had a full day planned for our full day. Initially, we were told there was a 2 hour wait and looking at the lanes, I couldn't see why. The alley was not utilizing all the open lanes. Even if they were trying to social distance, they went about it all wrong. There were either 6 or 8 lanes on the side where we were at, and only 2 in use at a time. If they allowed all lanes open, it's possible the wait would be way less. As for the costs, I would say average given the location of the alley.

Our family of four did one hour of bowling (lanes are rented by the half hour) while we waited for check-in to our room at Big Cypress Lodge. Shoes can be rented for $4 a pair (socks required). There are 8 lanes total and about half were being used at 3:00 pm on a Monday afternoon. The underwater theme is fun and there is lively country music playing. There is a bar where you can go to order drinks. Food (from Wahlburgers) can be ordered at the bar to be delivered to your lane. We got two orders of kid's chicken finger baskets, which came with either fries or tater tots. The fries and tots were hot, crispy and good, the chicken fingers were just standard. These are not lanes meant for serious bowlers, but is a fun time for a family or social gathering. The automatic scoring and machinery worked well. A bit pricey between lane and shoe rental plus drinks and a bit of food, but fun was had by all.

Clearly management does not read the reviews or it would get better. We were going to eat here but the hostess staff (three of them) with very few customers were rude. WE asked for a menu and retrieved one without any words from the staff. When I took it back and said we would be back in a bit, they just looked at me and walked away. Forget it, we went to another place outside of the area.

We stayed at Big Cypress Lodge went to have lunch and it was disappointing. We waited over 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order for drinks. When we finally got our food the order was wrong, we never got offered refills on our drinks and the waitress had an attitude. The service was awful and the food was overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Stayed at the Pyramid. Thought the food would be good. I understand it’s Covid times but that’s no excuse for rubber chicken and a fish sandwich the size of 2 fingers. Food was horrible and very expensive for what we got.

Waited 20 minutes before seeing our server. Floor was filthy. Never received silverware or had our drinks refilled. I ordered a BLT with a fried egg. Received my order after my family because they forgot to cook the bacon. Once I received the sandwich, there was no fried egg. Staff had a don’t care attitude. Expected a whole lot more in a hotel where I paid $350/night. Don’t waste your money!

Worst experience ever. Took 40 minutes to get our appetizers at 3:30pm. We had 2 servers and got forgotten in the shuffle. Place was not even busy. Floor was filthy. Food was gross. Place is nothing like the rest of Bass Pro. Who is managing this horrid place?

I hope that the state of this restaurant is due to covid or being extremely understaffed. We had to wait for a table and finally realized that the hostess forgot about us. Got seated and waited a really long time for our waitress. Food was delivered kinda timely except for mine and it came out 10 minutes after everyone else. Waitress was really nice and apologetic but it's like none of the employees ever worked in a restaurant and lack the most basic customer service skills. My husband saw a waiter delivering food to a table and holding up his sagging pants at the same time. The restaurant looks dirty with stained carpet and smudged windows. This restaurant really tarnishes the good name of Bass Pro Shops and Big Cypress Lodge.
