This was the second time The Genre hosted the Black Employees and Allies Resource Group for our fall social. The food was chefs kiss and Lernard and Jennifer provided EXCELLENT customer service. We had an amazing time!

The food was a 10/10, just simply good! The customer service was horrible. Had to eat with my hands. Hardly no refills on drinks. Felt ignored by the waitresses even when calling for them, so we just waited until they came to the table again …. which took forever.

Fish and grits is my number 1 go to for brunch. I really enjoy Friday nights after work for my fish with the 901 sauce on it. This place is great and full of vibes. Highly recommend. Staff is great also.
