A happy discovery thanks to Novel on Poplar! They are lovely and brought a variety of treats. Sweet and savory was my choice and they delivered! I recommend their scones especially the goat cheese & sweet potato!

My life will never be the same. Run, DO NOT WALK, to get a blueberry muffin and some sourdough. I am abundantly blessed.

Stopped in at Ginger's Bread & Co. and love the vibe. I grabbed an assortment of things for a girls brunch. The everything bagel croissant with cream cheese is legit—flaky, savory, and super satisfying. They have muffins, scones, challah, cookies, bread and other baked goods. Parking is easy, space is unique and clean and the folks are friendly. Pricing is super affordable, cheaper by weight than store brand. Highly recommend placing a pre-order or stopping by soon.

So cute and so so yummy! They were also really patient with my indecisive kids :)

The best chicken salad in Memphis, full of fresh chopped herbs. Price points are below fast food and even grocery prices, so the more you purchase the more you will save. Their sourdough crackers are a sturdy shingle for all the summer salads and spreads. Perfect Parisian croissants, in a variety of flavors, are southern sized. Ample parking in front in the heart of Midtown. Local artists have tables set up with adorable earrings, fairy houses and crotchet crafts. Can't afford a vacation? Step in the Ginger's Bakery for a taste of Paris.

I was hooked on the gingerbread. The other baked goods (especially the whole wheat bread.)

Bought a bourbon pecan croissant, highly recommended. And a loaf of rosemary-black pepper bread, so good dipped in olive oil.
Unique pastries, yummy as well!
I just love this place. The little handmade items from different vendors inside the shop, the cinnamon rolls are always moist and delicious, the challah rolls are the best ever and the guy that's always there is always a pleasure to deal with as well. Best bakery in Memphis.
I came in just a few days ago for the first time early in the morning right after opening while they were still setting up and the guy behind the counter (I'm sorry I forgot his name!) stops everything he is doing and was able to explain everything they offer in detail.
Excellent service and very excellent bread and pastries, thanks!

Ham & Cheese Croissant was delicious. The Espresso cookie was cooked to perfection and perfect. The staff is great and the selection amazing. I’m going to come back and try more things. Overall I love this little shop and have visited weekly to try different things. The espresso cookie is still my favorite, but I haven’t had something I didn’t like. The Crookie (croissant with a chocolate chip cookie combined) was buttery and delicious. Most things are worth the calories on the menu.

I went in with an open mind expecting a large variety and some hot food options, but what I found was a single display counters worth of maybe 10 cookie & pastry options, plus two or three bread options and candy put for Christmas.
The store seems disproportionately sized for such a small offering and I felt the man behind the counter wasn't overtly customer service friendly (could've just been a bad day). I'm not sure if the storefront is maybe new, and that's why it's limited. I would go back for the delicious bourbon pecan croissant and give it another chance, maybe after the holidays.
Parking: Only a small number of skinny parking right off a busy road (no shoulder), so you have to be careful getting in and out. A big truck or SUV might struggle.
