Honestly this is a bar place not a family place. Unfortunately a bug crawled out of the wallpaper and went into our food, we did advise the manager, whom offered us either a free meal or drink but we declined.

My wife, 15 month old and myself ate here on June 22nd, 2024.
It took 30 minutes to get our waters after I walked up to the bar and never got another beverage we ordered.
Food was not good and we all three got food poisoning.
I’m a life long Memphian and it pains me to say this but do not go here.

Bugs were in my food. Normally my favorite spot to eat and chill at but this was it for me and the manager acted as if he didn’t care he just took the food away and never came back.

Warning they are automatically adding an 18% tip to all checks. Normally, I'd leave as I don't believe in forced tips. I do tip and usually 20% but don't like being given no choice. However, it was Father's day so went ahead and the food was ok. They no longer make the grits for the shrimp and grits but use frozen grit cakes. Probably won't go back.

The manager Mike here is trash. Smitty the bartender is cool. The manager cares nothing for the people here, he even rolled his eyes at me. I feel so offended by his offset demeanor. I will never spend my hard earned dollars here again! I got ate up by insects on the patio, this place is horrible. The waitress Vita was so nice and accommodating but the manager could care less. My last time here.
