I'm older than the normal crowd & haven't been to HiTone in years; I came to see my grandson's band play. I loved the atmosphere, the people - customers AND staff - and just everything! Everyone was having a great time on this 4th of July - including me!

I can't say enough about the ole' Hi-Tone. I'm a 37 year old metal head, and it's a wonderful place to catch local/touring acts at an affordable price. Most shows are $10-15 a person for 3-5 hours worth of good tunes and times.
The drinks are reasonable for a bar/venue. I've never had the food.....shocking I know, but I can't lie and say I have.
It says all ages or to be determined for the upstairs room and downstairs is 21+ for the small room. However, I feel they're very loose on the age thing. I've seen 15-20 year olds in the audience several times downstairs. I've never had a problem with them tho as far as drama goes and I've never seen underage drinking going on....so kudos to the bartenders.
It's very family friendly for a bar....I know that sounds weird but it's true. There is a very comfortable, at ease feeling about
I wish they had more brutal, prog, and tech metal bands to play the venue, but I still adore this place.
The local scene is fierce you can feel the camaraderie in the air
We were one of three bands booked to play this "venue," on 5 21 24 the venue not only double booked a comedy show on the same night of the concert and then DIDNT promote the show at all. We played an empty room to the other band members and at the end of the night the staff, whom is allowed to get drunk while serving alcohol (illegal) decides because we threw away a trash beer box we had in the truck that he can threaten us and starts cursing and yelling at us to get the djdbbs out...you get the idea, and to top it all off this attitude that was displayed towards us comes after finding out they were not even going to help us with money for a meal let alone a hotel or fuel money. So the venue over books then blames the acts.....yeah HI tone room ran by low key morons.

Decent space. Variety of entertainment. My only issue is it’s impossible to contact management by phone, email or even FB messenger. I’ve been trying to reach out for over 2 weeks now. I left my debit card there when I started a tab and as soon as I realized my card was missing, I reported it lost or stolen. They have been trying to run it ever since and I’ve been trying to reach them to pay with alternative means. Maybe someone will finally see this review, check their email or FB messenger and reach out to me. I left my contact information in both places and would like to square my tab.

Great bar, excellent atmosphere. The bartenders were fast and on point and the bands were amazing!!! The best part is that you could smoke inside. And for a bar the pizza was amazing. 10/10 would catch a show there of just come in for a few drinks.
