The matcha is unfortunately pretty flavorless. It just tastes like milk. It's very brightly colored - it's not vivid green like it should ☹️
I really wish cafes would step up their game already and offer good, strong matcha!
My partner likes his coffee though, so 3 stars overall. Just don't come here for matcha.

Looking for a coffee fix while rambling around Memphis on a visit to family. It was a little later in the afternoon and some cafes were already shutting down, but we found The Hub open and easy to access!

This coffee shop is located in a very large church. As such, there is a lot of parking! Like, a LOT of parking. Since it was a Saturday it wasn't crazy congested. I liked that they had spots reserved not just for handicapped folks, but also for families with small children, expectant mothers, first time visitors, etc. It made the vibe more welcoming.

The church seems to have a fairly large campus and The Hub itself is housed in its own large section of the building. There are a few signs/decorations that remind you it's part of a church, but it feels fairly secular, which I thought was nice. The vibe is welcoming and sort of youthful. There's a lot of seating, both traditional tables and cushy couches and they were BUSY when I walked in. Still, the wait to order and grab my drink was brief.

The two young lady baristas were nice and working diligently! I was happy to see they're still offering peppermint mochas even this late in the season. I love a peppermint mocha :)

They have small snacks and pastries and such but I was still full from lunch so I only ordered a drink. I stood and sipped on some of the complimentary iced water.

My iced peppermint mocha was really good! I could've actually done for a teeeny bit more coffee flavor for once, but the drink itself was smooth, nice amount of ice, and perfectly mint-chocolatey flavor. Thin Mint vibes!

Definitely would recommend giving them a try if you're in the area.

They do make a good cup of coffee but seating is absolutely atrocious. You’d think they would have more seats for those who are there to study and leave some tables for parties of 2 or more. But, the tables are always taken up by “parties” of one. I just had a great Winter Spice oat milk latte but I had to drink it standing up. The coffee is good but not good enough to justify that. Won’t be back.

I used to come here and enjoy my time, I have to pray on timely manner, they have quite space that I used to use it for praying, usually it take me to use it for 3-4 minutes, in my previous visits they don’t have an issue to use it if it’s available and not in use.
however this time, some of the staff that I used to ask was not there, I asked to get a permission from the other staff who were there, they said that I can not use it for 3 minutes! even though it’s not reserved and nobody was there and using it. Whixh I don’t feel happy because using it for 3 minutes won’t harm anybody. I told them then I am going to leave and not come back again as I feel I am not welcomed they said Ok that’s won’t affect us.
Just I don’t feel they are welcoming!!

Jesus and Java. I think that’s all you need to make it to heaven?. All of the staff are super positive and happy, and the Breve Cappuccino was hipster perfection! Also they have free little party hats if you want to take your visit to the next level!!!

I came here to work remotely after dropping my partner off at a orientation. Traveled a little over an hour to get to Memphis and I didn’t know where I would be able to work comfortably and behold a hidden gem even better that its located on a church campus beautiful and great atmosphere…I definitely recommend for anyone looking to study, get work done, or just have coffee with friends .. Be blessed Mission Church. Sn: Coffee is fresh and inexpensive i recommend the Honey Bear

Surpring coffee shop in the middle of a church campus. I initially thought the GPS was wrong when I was brought to this cafe but alas I was the wrong one. The service was good and everybody was nice. The coffee was good and they have everything you need to add to it. I also got a scone and it was good too. Looked like a great place to work to as it was not loud and there were plenty of tables.

Came here for the first time today and i love the atomosphere and how there’s so much seating areas for you to sit at and enjoy your coffee. Coffee is really good. It’s also a great place to go and get work done or just meet up with friends to have coffee together. I recommend coming here! It’s honestly at an unusual place for a coffee place but it’s still really nice!
