These people are rude and over priced there us not a chicken in this life that I will pay for at this high a** place. And then they will block your number if u complain about there prices but guess what I don't give a rats a** bc I refuse to pay that amount don't go there they don't care au unless u buying there food
Terrible experience. Don’t come here unless you like overpaying, waiting an hour, or eating cold wings after your hour wait. Super disappointed, there are a lot of better places to spend $50 in Memphis.
I have no photos because I ate all of the evidence before I could solve the case. The cook took his time because we chose to sit and chit-chat. He created a masterpiece of perfection with his honey hot wings. The outside was a very thin crispy bite, while the inside was a moist, well seasoned tender morsel of honey hot goodness. I tipped the cook yall!!!!
I went here to purchase wings on my lunch break, bought 40 dollars worth of food to get back to work, and my Lemon Pepper wing was half done. I call back to this business to get a young lady to tell me to bring them back, which was 4 dollars plus! So she directed me to a young man who she said was the owner and he gets on the phone and say well I'll have to Get my manager to call back, and I still haven't heard from anyone! The cost of the food wasn't an issue, but who eats raw chicken?
I paid almost $40 for 10 wings and a small order of fries (pick up). Had to pay extra for celery.Had to pre-pay and pay extra for honey gold sauce that everyone else give it for free ($.89 per wing). They say they won all these awards but I was not impressed at all with the food.On a good note the staff was friendly ?
Lemon pepper wings are the best! I drove from Jackson Tennessee for some damn wings. This is my second visit and I’ll come back again. Before Covid they had a VIP program. If I lived local I would so have used that? the manager is a great guy. He fixed an issue I had and I still enjoyed my meal??
Listen listen listen, it is worth THE PRICE, cause you are paying for quality and very flavorful sauce, and the tenders are so good! Their lean and thick but also very tender and theirs no fat meat or hard pieces to bite into. And The crinkle fries are great and seasoned! I highly recommend this place to anyone!! An I suggest trying the suicide gold!
I had a bad experience with the lady who took my order. I called to make an order, when the lady was taking the order she was rushing me on the phone and not explaining anything being that this was my first time ordering from this them. I was hoping ones I got there she would change her attitude, but no, like on the phone she was rushing me during my pick up, I always say "if you do not like your job it's your fault" she had 0 patience and of course awful customer service. I definitely won't recommend this place to anyone!!
The wings were average. I had two 5-piece whole wings for $12.99 each and 1 small order of fries totaling almost $33. The wings didn't come with the standard rolls, carrots and celery that you usually get at most wing shops. There's an extra charge for flavors they consider as "premium" such as Guru Gold (honey gold). I had read they were expensive and that is definitely true. If you decide to try them out just be prepared to pay premium prices.
Two 10pc combos cost a cable bill !! Prices have increased due to pandemic chicken shortage I guess ??♂️ 2 stars for the prices but the chicken is still delicious and the service is cool.

When I walked in, I was greeted in the friendliest way! I had never been to The Wing Guru before and the girl behind the counter was very helpful. The other person, who turned out to be the owner, let me try their pork rinds, omg, so good! I left with 4 bags!!! I ended up getting 10 whole wings, half in lemon pepper and half in mild hot. I also got fried okra and fried pickles. Holy mother of everything, the food was FIRE!!! I was told that this place had the best wings in Memphis... I was not given incorrect information. I will for sure be back and am going to tell every wing lover that I know that they must not miss the Wing Guru! They sure named this place right, as eating the food was a religious experience! This place definitely gets my stamp of approval!!!!
I would have given 5 stars, but lately if encountered some unprofessional employee conduct and conversation within view of customers. But avoid that problem by ordering delivery. The wings are delicious and they have so many great flavors.
This was not the worst dining experience I ever had but it was a close second. I visited the location on 10/30/21 around 4pm noone in line. The young lady at the counter did not know how to put the order in had to go get someone from the back which was very helpful when she came out.Long store short 4 other people came in and order after I did they received their food first we sat almost and hour and when we got home the food was under cooked had to put in the air fryer to finish cooking which dried up the sauce a waste of 45 plus dollars.
This place came highly recommended, I was excited for my vacation with family, try the local cuisine.... not so much. I ordered the cajun wings, which were a sad disappointment- the flavor is overly salty and short lived. The fried pickles were barely fried and barely battered, could have had a better pickle straight out of the jar! My sister ordered the chicken tenders in BBQ sauce and instead she recieved some fish type product smothered in a sweet BBQ sauce, as well as undercooked.. My brother in law ordered the extra spicy wings and he got wet bottomed, dry tops in some sort of vinegar type sauce. The actual order of fish was mediocre at best. There were 3 people working, all appearing to be under 18 and not too enthusiastic about their jobs. We waited 45 mins for our food, other customers ordered after us and left long before we did. I do not recommend this place, at the very least this location. Overall the service was poor and I could have had better is Seattle.
Delicious! I got extra wings. My first time here.
