I tried sitting with a group of people as a solo person, we were laughing and having fun, but the bartender came up to me and said one of the girls was their girlfriend, which I knew was untrue as they were from out of state. He gave me an option of a free drink or kicking me out. I took the free drink and stepped back. Take this as you will. I won't ever be back.

Really fun bar, felt like a dive bar from back home in Omaha. Super welcoming staff. Entertainment by Rodell was great!

Outstanding experience! Sophia the bartender was very attentive & had such a cute personality. The live music along with the drinks & the DELICIOUS wings were a 10/10. I got the Red, White, & Blue Wings.. highly recommend if you like blue cheese crumble. The manager (Brinton) of this place truly cares & was attentive at the bar, the entrance, and was involved with the whole crew & guests the ENTIRE time we were there. I felt safe here & we planned to go to other places to explore but decided to spend our entire night here. No regrets. They made an impression on us & we will be back for more fun! Amazing place & I highly recommend. HUGE kudos to Brinton & his crew.

Tin Roof in Memphis is an absolute must-visit spot if you're looking for a fun and lively atmosphere. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we were in for a great time. The live music was fantastic—talented musicians that kept the energy high and the crowd dancing all night. The vibe was lively, upbeat, and perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy quality entertainment and a great night out.

We decided to try some drinks, and they definitely hit the spot and so did the food. We ordered the chicken fingers, and I have to say, they were pretty darn good. The real star was the white Alabama BBQ sauce—absolutely incredible! As a Yankee, I fell genuinely in love with it. The flavor was rich and perfectly balanced, making the chicken fingers an unforgettable treat.

The band was rocking, playing everything from classic hits to current favorites, and kept the energy really high. Everyone in the place seemed to be having a great time, and it was easy to see why Tin Roof is such a popular spot in Memphis. We had an amazing experience, and I can promise we’ll be back soon. If you’re in Memphis and want a fun night with good music, tasty food, and great vibes, Tin Roof is the place to be!

I’ve been to tin roof a few times and I’ve never had a problem bringing a plastic toy lightsaber in there but the staff on my recent night said it could be a weapon, they threatened to kick me out over asking about it after I already paid to get in. I’ve brought this lightsaber to several bars on Beale street and even tin roof and none of them had a problem with me bringing a lightsaber. I understand they don’t want violence however this was part of my costume and for the people at the door to say that a plastic lightsaber, that kids use, was considered a weapon was baffling to me. I literally went to tin roof the night before and the lightsaber wasn’t an issue at all. I don’t want to come for anyone’s money however I would appreciate if the workers at the door the night of November first 2025 , including the security guard, had a talk about what a weapon is. I love tin roof and I love the environment there however the workers that night were very rude and like I said before I politely asked them if I could bring my lightsaber inside after I already paid to get in and they said I asked to much and threatened to kick me out over it. I only asked twice, politely at that, and for a paying customer it was absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable behavior. Tin roof has always been a fun bar however me and my friends will not be attending anymore and I encourage anyone else that wants to have a good time not to go to tin roof and to literally go on any other bar on Beale till they fix there customer service and there policy on weapons. I didn’t get the names of the people working that night, however it was the night of November first into November second. Very disappointed from a bar I have previously had no issues with.

I went in by myself on a Wednesday night. The two bartenders greeted me right away. This place seems to be better kept than I remember from years ago. There were new menu items that the bartender recommended. I settled on one of the new burgers. The burger was cooked perfectly, presented well on the plate and hot. The manager happened to pass by and checked on me. I was overall impressed with my experience here. The restaurant appears to have been cleaned up. The staff was very nice. The manager definitely seems to care about his customers, staff and the bar. I’ll definitely be coming back. If you are looking to visit Memphis or Beale Street I highly recommend Tin Roof.

The use of excessive force is way out of hand at this place. The place is disgusting and even the bartenders pick fights with people and pretend to be UFC fighters. This is a terrible place of business.

Although the atmosphere was vibrant, the food was average but the service was good! My family reunion was scheduled for the upstairs portion of this establishment but their AC was not working and they had us in an adjacent room from their main hall which appeared to be like a basement! My family reunion banquet was using picnic tables indoors! I'm talking about hard metal plastic coated picnic tables that you would find at a playground! DJ booth was made of wood similar to that of a fort on a kids playground and there was a little door at the bottom of it and the inside was filled with trash. It was very disappointing, primarily because we paid $100 for this banquet per person through our family Union only to have it at this place which was a dive! Dive! Maybe it is a great locally for the folks here in Memphis but coming from Philadelphia, it was a dive! I will say this, in Grace, the main hall was really lively with the rock/ country music that was being played but the adjacent room was in shambles.
