When you stepped in the TOPS BBQ on Union Ave you knew you were going to get the BEST FOOD and the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERYDAY All day because those ladies work hard to please and prepare decent food. Since TOPS CHANGED so did the food and Not for the better. My BBQ sandwich had so much salt or seasoning added to it. It was uneditable. Tops BBQ stands alone and really doesn't need anything added to it.
I will say that awful sandwich was fresh and I requested pulled...

I havent been to a Tops BBQ since the 90's since moving out of the area. This place is old and could use some attention. BUT! The food was as good as I remembered. We both got the brisket combo and look forward to maybe going back again sometime for a repeat. It was so good and tender and the flavor was so good that it really didn't even need any BBQ sauce. The service in this place is just like the name,Tops! So friendly.

best pulled pork I have had in a long time. I will always recommend this restaurant to everyone. fabulous flavor and friendly service. can't wait to visit there and try something different.
