Tops has some really good food. Especially in Memphis

I'm sorry I hate to do this but I ordered this stuff and it was nasty. My ribs seem very old, like a day old or something and very dry brisket might have been okay. Pulled pork had a lot of gristle bone in it. I told the young lady I want it fries and baked beans but I got a double fry instead. Maybe she wasn't paying attention to my order. Hopefully they're not like this all the time. I'm from Wisconsin. Just wanted some Memphis BBQ + this did not hold up to it

March 9, 2025 2:45p: Purchased two jumbo brisket sandwiches. The sandwich was dry salty and appeared to have been cooked the day before. The staff was nice and the business atmosphere was okay, but there were no other customers which should have alerted me there could be issues particularly with the food. We have eaten at many of the Tops BBQ in memphis including on Hacks Cross. However, this was the worst brisket sandwich we have eaten. Will not be returning. Update 3/9/2025: Cory the manager addressed my concerns and I am confident that my food orders will be better as they were many times before...Good job Cory and staff.

I ordered the beef brisket plate in the drive thru and they forgot to put my potato salad, sauce and napkins & silverware in the bag.....

I ordered a #1 with no cole slaw & extra sauce, my side was SOUR CREAM and ONION chips with a red koolaid to drink. I was asked to verify my order on the screen in the drive-thru, it was correct.
My sandwich was dry & cold (without the extra sauce I requested & no packs of sauce were inside the bag), I was given plain chips (requested Sour Cream & Onion), and the koolaid tastes like water.

I WILL NEVER SPEND A DIME OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY AT THIS TOPS LOCATION EVER AGAIN! BASED ON THE REVIEWS I JUST READ ABOUT THIS LOCATION, IT HAS BEEN TRASH! WISH I HAD READ THOSE REVIEWS PRIOR TO MY DECISION TO GO!!!

Parking: The parking lot is full of huge pot holes that will tear up your vehicle unless you drive a monster truck!

I ordered a meal for approximately $14 at the drive-thru around 7:30pm on 1/22/25. I arrived home 5 minutes later to discover a luke-warm burger, bun falling apart, bacon with 75% uncooked fat on it and cold/old/stale fries. If I had not been so tired, I would have driven back to the restaurant. I would hope that Tops would be determined to serve its after-hours customers HOT and FRESH food as well.

I placed an order for beef brisket but the sandwich that was given tasted like pulled pork. I went back to the window to let them know it was pulled pork, but the manager disputed and she said could tell by the color. I also told her it was dry and shouldn't be. She took it and made new ones but they were cold and still tasted like pulled pork. I will never eat here again.

It's been a month, since early December 2024, that I recall this location having more than 2 workers. Service is terrible, food quality is not like other locations. They also do not honor their toast rewards system at this location.
Definitely not worth the time or trouble to go to this location.

Worst tops in Memphis!! I am a fan of Tops but this is my 3rd time visiting this one and it’s always trash. Management needs to check on this place. They are not living up to the Tops standards.

Came to pick up a delivery for one of the delivery gig apps for a customer, and the service has been extremely slow. They had people’s orders ahead of mine mixed up and confused as nobody got a ticket at the self serve kiosk due to the receipts being printed to a wrong printer.

While I was taking a look at the displays showing the menu, a lady in the kitchen told me to use the kiosk, and when I told them I was waiting on a delivery order, was yelled at to get away from the counter.

I hope the customer’s food isn’t messed up or bad-tasting after I had to wait over 20 minutes to have the order completed. The service alone left a bad taste in my mouth.

This is the worst Tops location. I have been several times and each time the food was disappointing. I love Tops but I don't recommend this location.

My husband and I went to the one in Corinth! Everything was Excellent! Huge variety!

Last night was the worst. Visited this location to get burgers and fries. I was told that they were out of fries, baked beans, brisket. I ordered the two turkey burgers and had to get Mac n cheese since they were out of fries and they still charged me $1.50 extra even though it was their fault that they were out of fries. There was one person at the counter taking orders. All of the orders were just sitting in the window for about 30 minutes. Once she stopped taking orders she couldn’t tell who the orders belong too.This was awful and she had the nerve to get an attitude with one of the customers. Never again.
