Torchy's Tacos

Something weird about this Torchy's. Being from Houston and eating at many Torchy's locations, this Memphis location had burritos that were all about 20% smaller than every other location we've eaten at (we ordered 4 burritos, they were ALL small)! Their tortillas seemed a different brand than typical Torchy's tortillas. They were obviously smaller and fluffier than other Torchy's locations. Weird that they're not the same standard company wide.

We had a large group seated at the largest table. We needed extra chairs. Not having a table large enough for our isn't really their fault but it made our get together uncomfortable. We arrived at 1 pm. It was noisy and busy and stayed that way while wet had our meal.
I didn't know it was self serve so be aware in case mobility is an issue.
Noisy. Crowded. Self serve.

That said everyone I talked with in our group said the fix is his. I had fajitas with guacamole(extra) and they were very good but a rather small portion for the price.
I'll probably go again to get a take out order.

I had the democrat taco and Mexican rice. They were flavorful and cooked well. I also had one of the natural lemonade drinks and it was very refreshing. The Reese’s cookie was pretty good too and I never eat peanut butter for a cookie. Great service too. Shout out to Marina.

Really good salmon taco

Ordered pick up and they forgot queso AND guac dip we ordered. CHECK YOUR ORDER! Next time I’ll cut it open on their counter. Not that hard people.

Sat in drive thru line for 18 minutes to only get cold food.

Was very disappointed after having to wait over 40 minutes in the drive through! We ultimately left without our food because there was still someone in front of us in line. We will not be returning, especially after we found a hair in our cheese dip a previous time.

Much more chipper today in the Drive Through... wife and I each got a taco, and split a sweet tea... 21 bucks, kinda pricey and the tea tasted funny... but the tacos are still so dagum delicious

Went here on the whim and wasn't disappointed. We got 3 tacos. The republican (brisket), Baja Shrimp and Brushfire (chicken). All 3 tacos were good, 8.4/10. The republican came with a good portion of meat which surprised me. The only downside is the appetizer of Tots were a very small serving. There was maybe 4 or 5 tots. It was good but not anything special.

Overall I would come again to try other tacos.
