We fell in love with the human quality of this restaurant, the meals were an Ode to our palate... I especially recommend the tenderloin with salad and avocado, extraordinary BBQ beef... we had a rich experience, they are an example of Fraternity ... Fixed Stop Place for Everyone in Memphis and Mississippi... Manager Juan and young Alma were good guides in the selection of our starter dishes...! Those Re-Divine Nachos..!

I visited for the first time today. No referral. I just decided to try them out. The cashier was friendly & professional. The restaurant appeared clean and well kept. The food was prepared quickly. I ordered a Tostada and 3tacos and rice. The Tostada was a 10! The tacos were asada. The meat was well seasoned but the shells didn't taste cooked or heated. The rice was ok...not very flavorful but still good. I enjoyed all of the food and I will return again for sure. I will try other items off the menu particularly a burrito and tamales!

Unfortunately in some things, good seasoning, but the prices are a deception, the menu says one price and at the time of payment they rob you by telling you more. That's stealing, the quesadillas are just theft, the price hurts.

Absolutely love this place. Great staff and the best tamales in Memphis if you're looking for authentic ones. And they also handmade their tortillas and actually sell them to a lot of the restaurants up and down summer Ave.

The tortillas were all over the dining table being packaged for sale, and they was sweeping in the direction of the table at the same time getting dust all over the tortillas. This place is very unsanitary.

We had been patronizing the original location on Perkins Street for just over 20 years. The menu is wide and the real standout for us are the tamales. Several types-Puerco, Pollo(2 types), Queso, Beef, etc along with really great housemade salsas. They also make their own flour tortillas-awesome. This location is also great for takeout as it's right by the interstate if you are just passing thru. The owner is a great guy and the employees are always positive and friendly. You will not find a better AUTHENTIC tamale in Memphis and at the best price.

Great food however, the prices don't match the menus, and apparently change frequently. Went last week and orders the same thing as yesterday and the price jumped afew dollars.
Super nice authentic Mexican restaurant. The vibes make you feel like you are at a Mexican house and the employees are very nice and dispatch you order right away. They have plenty of tables and have tvs for entertainment! Definitely a place to be if you want a good meal !

The food at this restaurant was very good and authentic. They had a wide variety available on their menu. I really enjoyed their menudo, tortillas and pork tamales. I'm pretty picky when it comes to those items but when I ate them here, I felt like I was back home in San Antonio.

Stopped in to grab a quick bite. The service was fine the food wasn't bad either. You just fill up on chips and salsa waiting on your food to get to you. It's nor much to look at but the food is authentic Mexican

If you want authentic hot tamales in a corn husk without the Americanize chilli and cheese then this is the place for you. I've tried the chicken and pirk. The spice level is perfect and if you want some extra heat then mix the red snd green sauces and dip your tamale in it...
