I’m not from Memphis I’m from atl I will never think in my life that other state has better hood food than ATL but this place change my mind this is one of the best foods I’ve ever eaten if anybody is reading this I’m telling you you don’t need to search for other places to eat u in the right spot go and get yo food

It was my first time patronizing this establishment, I had the vegan fried chicken sandwich. It was good, the 4 stars for food is because it was really salty. I will be returning to try some of their other vegan options.

Phenomenal food, service and ambience. Everything was perfect, flavorful and cooked just right. My stomach is begging me to stop eating but my heart wants to clean the plate!

Horrible customer service. I waited over 30 for an order that was placed 30 minutes prior to me getting there. I'll never come back.

I got the jerk chicken with greens and okra. To be honest, the jerk chicken was certainly not authentic as I’ve had many times in Jamaica, but it was pretty good. The sauce was good, but there was not enough of it. I should get it on the side. It had a nice smoke flavor though. The greens I believe were out of a can, which is not unexpected and the okra was. I drove along distance from the middle of Memphis to Whitehaven and to be honest I would say it was not worth the drive, but I will try the Cordova location.

I've tried to give this place a chance twice. Maybe it wasn't good because it was an hour before closing. Jamaican Patty was burnt and my wings were very dry, perhaps old.. and food is definitely overpriced. I'll try it again during peak business hours if someone else pays for it. $30 for a patty, 3 wings and 8 small shrimp. It has plenty of potential. maybe this is just my experience

Decided to try here for dinner. We ordered take-out. The cashier was very nice and the cook was too. Now the food: The fried green tomatoes were great. The lamb chops were good. The baked beans and cabbage were really good. The fried fish and oxtails were too salty. The oxtails also are not worth the price for the quantity. It's like 2 to 3 small oxtails cut up. The spaghetti was surprisingly bland.

Food and service was great. However..... the music and the cleanliness is not where it's at... not to mention the flies that greeted us like they were there to seat us at a table.... SMH.....

Blackened Salmon Cajun Pasta was perfect and delicious. Definitely will be ordering again with the juice and butter. ( Just how Big Mama use to make it)

The butter roll they serve here is everything. You will definitely go back for more. I live far from the restaurant, but the butter roll is addictive.

I was excited support this black owned business but unfortunately it was a flop, had to wait to place my order, order taker was not friendly at all and on top of it my food was horrible very very very salty 🤮 food was not hot at all like it had been in the store for days i would’ve took it back but it was a sign that said no refunds or exchanges , but what about making it right for the customer food for thought ijs but i wont be going back if im paying 40 bucks for food it should at least be made to my liking every thing should just be about getting a dollar satisfaction of the customers should be the goal . Whoever started this business find your passion again
