The hubby and I are Roadtrippers and tropical smoothie is a regular breakfast stop for us across the country. We ordered ahead on our app for a pick up at the Union location in Memphis. We were excited to see they had a drive thru which would make picking up our order easy at this tiny location. But to my surprise we were told we had to come inside to pick it up. I told the hubby, they probably have it on a shelf too far away from where they are working. I was wrong. We parked and walked in (we were the only customers). I walked up to the cash register right next to the drive thru window and asked for our order. She took the off the shelf behind the cash register literally 24 inches from the drive thru window and handed it to me. I walked back the length on the building to the door. Walked back the length outside the door to the parking area. It was super stupid to make us walk in to pick up the order. Being disabled and having difficulty walking and getting in and out of the car made it extra challenging. Luckily we don’t live around here, but I will remember to not stop at this location in Memphis on our travels across country again.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at any tropical smoothie cafe. It says on my receipt that Kandarp P took our order and everything was fine until we got to the window. We asked for a smoothie at the speaker to be made with stevia and ordered a few other items. He did not repeat our order back to us so we just had to hope he heard everything and got it correct. When we got to the window we noticed the sticker didn’t say it was made with stevia and we mentioned it to the person. He quite literally rolled his eyes, shook his head and said, “no you didn’t say that”. We were just taken aback because I have never had someone tell me what I said was wrong when we did in fact say we wanted it made with stevia. Like we were so pleasant to the person the whole time and for him to get such an attitude with us for him getting our order being wrong was just uncalled for. He took the smoothie back but I’m pretty sure he gave us back the same smoothie with just the sticker taken off. He didn’t say anything to us when he handed it back he just rolled his eyes. Like if you can’t handle a mistake that you have made and can’t own up to it maybe DON’T be in customer service and learn to repeat orders back to people. Telling a customer they are wrong when in fact you didn’t hear the order properly is wild. I won’t ever come back to the location. Please hire employees that aren’t so nasty to people.

This is the closest location to my home. Every time I've gone, there are never any pleasantries whether inside or the drive-thru. They are NOT friendly!! They need to understand being courteous can make the difference in a returning customer. I'll just drive further if it continues this way.

My chicken was cold and it was drowned is pesto . So much u can’t eat it because it’s so oily . Please do better this was supposed to be my first meal of the day. I did call and let them know. They told me to come with my receipt which I will be doing
