The food was fantastic. Expertly prepared sea bass and the beurre blanc was light and perfectly balanced. Our server was so attentive and friendly. Loved every moment of this dining experience.

Amazing service with delectable seafood dishes. Great spot for a special dinner like anniversary or birthday because the vibe is very relaxed. (You aren't being hurried to order, eat and leave.) The small plate is actually medium sized -- plenty of food especially if you are getting appetizer/salad and want to leave room for dessert -- recommended!

One of my favorites. Wonderful ambience. Great menu. Over the top service, food is superior. Good wine list.

This was our first visit to Tsunami... we were in the mood for seafood. The location is in the heart of the Cooper-Young area. The food was delicious, and the service was just as wonderful. The Chilean Sea Bass recommended by our waiter was just what we were looking for! We plan on stopping in for another bite soon! Definitely recommend!

Food and service were excellent! Only complaint was the noise level. Trying to have a nice dinner with my husband who is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids. Normally wouldn't be an issue but the noise level was very high. Combine that with being seated at a very small two-top table where we had to sit across from each other and very close to other patrons, and we could not carry on a conversation with each other. Would have possibly been better at a table where we could have been adjacent or maybe not in the middle of the room. If we go again, I will request better seating when making the reservation.

A wonderful meal with delicious food...calamari, sesame noodles, black bean soup...all perfectly prepared and served by our excellent waiter. It couldn't have been better and I look forward to many return visits!

I decided to try this place out on a first date I was really excited for and I decided to put in the reservation that it was a first date. The waitress, who's name I sadly can't remember, came to get our drink orders in an appropriately timely manner and seemed keenly aware of the fact we were taking our time and that looking at the menu was going to take some time ?.I'm a bartender so I'm very picky over my cocktails and both I ordered were actually AMAZING so they definitely have a knowledgeable bartender. The food was simple, in a very elegant way. Each dish had a personality and it knew how to express it.The atmosphere was also just so wonderful. Understated, with a little chic modernity, just enough to still feel inspired rather than derivative. The sound of the restaurant stood out to me a lot. Great music choice, and the sound dampening is perfect. Just enough of the bustle gets through to remind you you're sharing moments with strangers, but also just perfect to make you and your date feel like the only two people that matter in that moment. Please give this venue a shot, they will not disappoint and they deserve your money for their passion.

Saw a post about this week's special at Tsunami on Instagram yesterday and decided we had to try it! It did not disappoint! Fresh seafood, light tomato broth and crispy toast on the side. Delicious! Thanks to Jeff for always making our dining experiences at Tsunami memorable!

I love Tsunami - always delicious choices. Last night seemed a little haphazard- my soup had clearly been sitting for a bit before it got to me (it had formed a “skin.” It also needed salt, as did the oven roasted shrimp with chilis— and I'm not a salt fanatic. The food deliverer also didn't know who got what dish which seems out of character for a pretty seasoned and high end restaurant. Minor complaints. Overall still very very good.

We had a quick one night stop in Memphis and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant and we are so glad we did! The scallops and trout entrees we had were cooked perfectly and the ambiance was very cozy and relaxing. Excellent service. Would definitely come back!

We had a lovely meal at Tsunami last night. The menu was varied and had wonderful flavors. You MUST get the mussels! Everything was ordered and staged for a relaxing, coursed meal. Our server was on top of everything throughout the evening and made excellent suggestions. We highly recommend visiting Tsumani and plan to do so again ourselves!

The service by Ashley was exceptional. Attentive without hovering. The food was fresh, delicious and memorable. The roasted pear salad was a treat. But the best thing I've eaten in a long time is the roasted sea bass on black Thai rice. Amazing. We love Tsunami

We dined on crispy calamari, pear salad and of course, the sea bass. As usual, Tsunami excels in all aspects of a fine dining experience. Kudos to Ben Smith and his staff to a well executed meal!
