A little dingy, food was good but bread on my sandwich was stale. But overall, good. Cafeteria style.

The Elvis museums and Graceland were great. However, don't add the meal voucher to your tickets. Stay away from this place! Spend your money elsewhere.

We were visiting Graceland and it was time to eat. Food was good. I got a salad that was good. My husband got a plate of meat that was tasty. You stand in a line and they serve you cafeteria style. There was inside and outside seating.

$30 for this plate seems like a stretch. It has to be a tourist trap for the people visiting Graceland. The brisket was 60% fat. Admittedly this is my first go with TN BBQ. Still, I regretted my order when the cashier rang me out.The highlights for me were the cornbread and Diet Coke. Staff was friendly and kind. That said, the meat, Mac, and okra were cold and mid overall.

Got the bbq sampler, meats were dry, no sauce, very flavorless. The collard greens were good and the Mac and cheese. Cornbread and banana pudding good.

We were robbed. Came to Graceland for a concert. Was here at 4:45pm, concert starts at 8. Stood in line, cafeteria style, then you go to cashier, then seat yourself. At least they didn't ask for a tip. They were sold out of all bbq except ribs. Sides were very limited. Only other meats were catfish and meatloaf. Got 2 plates and a bottled water - paid $42.46. The ribs were moist, dry rub has a lot of pepper. Catfish was crispy but more breading than fish. Sweet potatoes have a lot of sugar and spices, I appreciate that they warned me about the pecans. Overall, pretty meh, and very overpriced. There's a Checkers and a Taco Bell next door - go there instead.

Very disappointing! The food had been sitting there for an extended period of time and was Not fresh. For that price, it should be hot and fresh. In 2017, the food was much better. Whatever is going on in the kitchen, needs Pimproved upon, or the restaurant is not going to last. The staff could have been more polite as well. Elvis fans deserve better. To put Elvis’ father’s name on the venue is down right disrespectful. For the sake of Graceland and Elvis Fan’s World wide, Please take this serious. Vernon’s Smokehouse is not up to standards. No disrespect to anyone but please take that long hard look within. People from around the world visit. Please show them the way Elvis would treat them.jefferyelvis

Staff was nasty. Food was pretty good but the staff really made my experience poor. Super rude and not helpful. The place wasn't even busy and they acted like we were inconveniencing them.

I was disappointed in the meal & prices. $70 for two plastic cups, 1 chicken tender, couple of fried okra, slice of meatloaf, and some Mac&Cheese. Also the chicken was left out too long and not tasty at all.

Visiting Graceland has become an annual event in my household and we always make Vernon's our lunch spot in the middle of our day of touring. It's set up in a cafeteria-style, where you grab a tray, order, and your plate is made. We always get the BBQ Sampler which means you get one rib, one smoked chicken wing, smoked brisket, and pulled pork, plus 2 sides, and roll or cornbread. Their desserts are the standard Southern style choices like pecan pie, apple pie, peach and cherry cobblers, and cheesecake. Bonus, they also serve Coke products, with my favorite, Coke Zero. Employees are friendly enough and of course, Elvis concerts are playing on the tv screens, which makes it even more awesome when you're eating such wonderful bbq in the middle of one of the happiest places on earth (if you're an Elvis fan). If I lived locally, I would come here all the time, even if not visiting Graceland. Highly recommend!

Not much to say. We wanted a little taste of "Memphis barbecue" since we have Carolina barbecue locally. Try something different. My wife tried the meatloaf and I had the barbecue sampler. The server of my order more than clearly was ...how to be nice about it? Didn't care for persons of a color different from his. 99% of the staff of the entire Graceland complex was uber nice. He wasn't one of them. My wife didn't really enjoy the meatloaf. However, I took a bite and did enjoy it. She liked the barbecue sampler. And I felt it was tasty, but cold and dry. Like someone else said, we're Elvis fans, lifetime. And we wish we could say something more positive. But can't. We can't fib and give this experience a good rating.

Good food, a bit pricey, tho. A BBG pork sandwich with 1 side was like $13, and it's nothing to write home about. We did get some really cool plastic graceland cups to take home. The BBQ nachos were massive and worth the price we paid, tho. The staff were nice.

All meat was not freshly cooked with lots of fat. Hush puppies were not edible and broccoli almost edible. Everything tasted like it was cooked and sat a long time. Tea and ice was good though.
