We'd never tried take-out from Wang's on Highland, though we live in the neighbourhood. Our order came promptly, and with no fuss. Really appreciated: that the order was packaged so perfectly. Nothing tipped over, nothing spilled, nothing oozed out. Generous portions--more than many take-out places. They have a mix of Mandarin and Cantonese dishes, so we mixed. Vegetables tasted fresh. A quite lovely chicken-and-corn soup. LOTS of rice, LOTS of noodles...lots of everything, in fact. One order proved to be two meals. A tasty, filling dinner. Purists won't like that Wang's style runs a bit to the "American Chinese" style. But the more ecumenical among us should enjoy what this anonymous little establishment on Highland can do. My wife and I were genuinely impressed, and we'll be back again!

We have ordered here many times. Usually good/hot food.. this was disgusting. Cold, soggy. We ordered extra hot mustard, lol, got absolutely none!! What's going on with y'all?? Will hesitate before ordering again.
Best takeout Chinese I've had in TN from Nashville to Memphis. This place actually has the BBQ pork I grew up on from takeout back in Oregon. They even make their own incredibly good spicy Chinese mustard. Pro order: General Tso's with house fried rice, crab rangoon, egg drop soup, BBQ pork, and two orders of spicy Chinese mustard.

I often order from Wang's Mandarin House. It's always to go. My favorite dish is chicken and shrimp fried rice. They always have my order ready when I get there. Never a long wait. The staff is very friendly.Parking: Plenty of parking on the side and back of the Parking Lot.

The most consistent restaurant I've eaten at in Memphis, large portions and delicious. The orange chicken can be not as spicy sometimes but I'm it complaining, sometimes variety is the spice of life.

I was under the impression that this place had Thai or Mongolian or an Asian mix but was surprised when the menu was just basic Chinese Take-Out. The service was okay and the food wasn't what I would normally expect. I got the general tsos chicken with fried rice. The General Tso lacked the traditional flavor profile and was underwhelming, the fried rice was good and the spring roll was fresh and tasted good. There wasn't a soda fountain and you would have to buy canned drinks or bottled water, which was disappointing. The portions were decent though. Overall I'd say it's mediocre at best and I paid $30 for me and my brother which I think was a bit much considering the quality and expectation.

Nasty. I’m not sure what this burnt nasty food they just delivered. (Was supposed to be spareribs and fried rice) Wasted my money I’m so mad. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. also fyi the food on the menu using DoorDash or Uber eats is SIGNIFICANTLY more than ordering on their website..None of that matters though because y’all SHOULD NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Unless you’re in a charitable mood and want to give money away..go somewhere else
