The fish was fried really hard not really any flavor… had parts of it that weren’t done. Asked for ranch to go with onion rings because no flavor and it was 1.79 … we were not told that and just for a sauce cup. We received our appetizer with our food after waiting about 25 minutes and asking for the food. We had to have the spinach dip warmed up and asked for more chips and there was an extra charge for that so we declined. The young lady was pleasant but the food just wasn’t good. The hush puppies were over cooked so hard we couldn’t eat them. The steak fries were good. Total $54. We won’t be returning.

Quite yummy! I had the red beans and rice, great flavor! A friend had the fried catfish basket. It was really good too. Other friends had the salmon and burger which they said were good also. Food was a little slow coming out..but probably because our conference at the Sheraton released for lunch and bombarded the nearby restaurants. Our server made great suggestions.

Can’t really rate the food since I didn’t get any. I walked in to get carry out. One customer was waiting at his table. One of the staff was at the bar working on the computer. I spoke and nothing. Then I waited for him to finish what he was doing. He walked to the back and proceeded to do something else. I looked over at the other customer and we both just looked at each other for a sec. Them I cleared my throat to see if I could get the staffs attention. Nothing! So I left. They usually have good food and good service. I guess I wasn’t welcome on this visit.

Walked in this place. 2 very big TVs, and they can only play one channel on both TVs!! We are in downtown Memphis, and the Memphis Tigers are playing a HUGE game against a ranked conference opponent, they have the damn Ole Miss game on and won’t change it! Can’t put both games on at the same time because somehow they are still in 1986!! Unbelievable!

Everything about Westy's was phenomenal!!! Best chicken and dumplings *except my Grandmother's* EVER!!!! Amazing service *James* that was able to offer great suggestions!!!! Perfect little hole in the wall atmosphere *people were there in shorts and t-shirts but also in tuxes and evening gowns* very comfortable!!!!

Parking may be an issue, depending on the time of day, but again, its downtown so... Like it bc its also one of the few places that opens till about 2am in the morning!
