This restaurant is terrible; I'll explain. As soon as you walk in the floor is so sticky your steps make loud noises. There are very few prices posted. The catfish menu is false advertisement as it is SWAI not catfish they are serving. I used the word serve very very loosely because they do NOT bring you anything. They slide your drink cup to you under a shield that is so low it is done on its side; you know the part you put your lips on. The Mac and cheese has no flavor and the color is a dark orange. Their claim to have the best Black Eyed Peas is false as well; dry and no taste. The decor of the place has you wondering if you should call the Shelby Health Department. Need I say more

This place was like eating in a trash can!! I paid $25 dollars for chitterlings they had trash in them floating like fish food in a tank!!! I thought maybe I’d support a black business but he was so damn right rude. This was my first and last time. I wouldn’t even recommend feeding this to wild animals ✌🏽Business sucks!!! $60 wasted!!!

If the older man wouldn't be so rude I would come more often. I sent a co worker over cuz my plate was good but she started older man was rude saying she didn't speak and she did....I believe her cuz one day I cld a while back for fish plate I had just got it for 9.99 he gave me another price I asked him about 9.99 price boyyyy he went off saying ain't nobody selling 9.99 fish i hung up and hadn't returned till last week and don't think I will return

It was evident that Willie Moore's has decided to cheap out on every ingredient available, and it shows. The place was in horrible condition from years of zero maintenance. As a native Memphian, it was the worst southern meal I've eaten in my life. It was also very overpriced. Would not recommend.

Really good and I mean REALLY GOOD!!!!. I personally believe the food here is topnotch. Tasteful, fulfilling, down home, southern style, rich in flavor. I don't see how you could go wrong eating here, dine in or Take out.

Today you just really did it for me to resign from doing business with you. $26 dollars for 2 fried pork chops sir?? No sides, no combo, just two fried chops. Out of respect for you, I will not go into any ranting. But I'm so sorry to have to say farewell. I will just cook it myself or doordash it for the price I received for two pieced of pork chops. I can't believe that you would do that sir. Good luck and hope you make a turn around.

Willie Moore is an old man with no respect for his customers!! I suggested to go eat there to a group of friends.. Food was not fresh, it’s expensive, no air conditioner.!! Some did not like the taste or texture of the chicken she received and he went on to question the lady on why she wanted her money back ! He told her she took a bite out the chicken and refused to assist her. Ask why you don’t like it!! ? Now I’m upset on how he was speaking to the lady! 50 years of service and this how he is! I think this man feel like he still in the MILLION Man MARCH!

My male coworker told me about the $9.99 lunch that included a drink. The elderly cashier, I’m assuming Willie, was so RUDE and argumentative!! I’m not sure if he has an issue against women, but the way he was talking to the women customers was unprofessional. Also, the food was subpar.
Grabbed a tray for my plate and they were so greasy. Willie hollered across asking what we (the ladies) wanted to eat. The meat was displayed in front behind glass, but not the sides, so when you ask what sides they have Willie throws a fit and points to the right side of the menu.
I asked at the register was a drink was included, since my male coworker received one. Owner immediately went off, saying lunch specials don’t include a drink. I asked for water, he said bottled water only for a fee, free no water cup. Accused me of paying the white man’s prices, but wanting a discount for Black business owners. I was in shock and confusion the entire encounter. Then he told me to stop smiling. My total was 10.91. He was so mad that he kept putting my debit card number in wrong, I was starting to think he was overcharging me. He disrespectfully slid my debit card on the counter, forcing picking me up like I was in the African American in the Jim Crow era. He tried to do the same with my receipt, but I quickly put my hand under so he couldn’t do it again.
The sides with my fried pork chop was canned turnip greens & dry dressing. The cornbread was unnecessarily sweet.
Floor greasy as well, tables dirty, humid inside. My coworker said the bathroom filthy. The bald cook was friendly, but I think it was damage control. Only people with an unseasoned palate or a humiliation kink would give this business a good review!
