The food was extremely bland, especially the hush puppies. Had to ask for tarter sauce, which tasted like mayonnaise. Fish was cold and greasy. We were shocked considering the theme of the restaurant.
The food here is always good, not great but consistently good. The service is almost always great! We’ve never been “forgotten” at Top O’ The River. Also we love all the old pictures from the giant catfish over the years to the building of Pickwick Dam. You really can’t go wrong with Top O The River.
One thing that could be improved has nothing to do with food or service but it’s the handicap parking. They have it but for someone in a wheel chair...

Ate there last night, August 10. I ordered the Riverboat Special, and it was so delicious. Even brought some fish, slaw, and hush puppies home and had those for lunch today. Thanks for the delicious meal!!
