Such a beautiful Black owned coffee shop in the heart of Millington. Staff was kind and the food was hot and fresh! Needed a place to do my work, and their WiFi was fast! Will definetly be a regular now that I know they’re here!

We stumbled onto Jay’s during a road trip and a simple hunt for breakfast became a highlight of the trip. Excellent coffee, wonderful food in a lovely interior. And the service was both professional and filled with grace. I wish we lived in the neighborhood to return again and again.

They make the best turkey sandwich you'll ever have, and the cheesecake is amazing. The staff is amazing and the restaurant is always clean and welcoming.
Not sure how long they’ve been open but with food and service experience I had, they’ll definitely be here to stay. Clean restaurant. Got the breakfast bowl, delicious, could bathe in the gravy. Russel was the sweetest, great customer service!

I want to say i was in there the other day. Mrs.jenna was an amazing and put together person. She had a warm and welcoming spirit and smile. The cook on shift with her did amazing as well I didn’t get his name. Jays coffee did the best hiring I haven’t had this kind of experience in a way! Yall go visit jays in millington. you won’t regret it ❤️ The food was warm and the vibe was so home like.

We've been going to Jays since it opened. We love the atmosphere, and the people are always very friendly, but the food, for what it is, is a bit overpriced, and takes a long time to get. In the past we would get the food pretty quickly, but the last few times we've gone in, although the place had a few customers, but wasn't by any means super busy, it still took a really long time to get our food. Yesterday we waited for 45 minutes for our food. I don't know if they are just understaffed in the kitchen, or they are slammed with online orders (very possibly that is the case), but Jays is an absolute gem in this community and I don't want to see it do poorly. I would suggest maybe having enough staff to have some focusing only on the online orders, and another focusing on dine-in orders, that way the folks who actually come in to eat, don't get pushed off because of the staff trying to fill online orders. Just my thoughts. We will probably go back, but it may just be for coffee and cake, rather than a meal, since it takes too long to get..

Jay’s Coffee & Cuisine is one of those spots that just gets it right. The coffee is smooth and well-made, and the food actually matches the quality, which isn’t always the case at places like this.
Everything tastes fresh, and you can tell there’s care behind how it’s prepared. The atmosphere is relaxed, easy to sit and stay for a while, whether you’re catching up with someone or just taking a break.
Service is friendly without being too much, and things move at a good pace. It feels like a place you can rely on, not just a one-time stop.
Definitely a spot I’d keep in rotation.

Place is cute inside... bakery items they get from outside looked great. Three meals... took forever... and it had to be the worst food I've had in years. None of the three of us were happy. No idea how they have survived 3 years. It's unusual for me to leave a review... but don't believe the 4.8 rating.
