“I’m not sure how long this cafe has been around but the food was AMAZING!We sat in the back watching how the customers interacted with the employees & vice versa. It’s a warm welcoming place that has live music on the weekends.The prices are great & you get a lot of food. I ordered the 2 Pc. Lemon Pepper Chicken on Rice $9.95 with brussel sprouts & deviled eggs as my sides. It comes with a dinner roll.My friend Charity Cruz ordered the 2 Pc. Grilled Pork Chops $11.95 with mac & cheese & green beans as her sides. It comes with a dinner roll.The only small complaint we had is they brought my food out before hers & it was a good minute before hers was brought out. So the dilemma is do I start to eat my food & hope hers arrives soon or do I wait & risk mine getting cold?You don’t normally see deviled eggs on the menu as a side. I’m glad I choose to get them! They were delicious. I’m new to eating brussels sprouts (like within the last year). Every time my friend orders them she always gets balsamic vinegar. I asked our server if he had this and he said unfortunately, no. So I was a little leery since that’s how’s I’ve always now eaten them but I went ahead and ordered them anyway. They needed NOTHING additional on them because they were seasoned perfectly! These were by far the best brussels sprouts that I have ever ate.The chicken was tender and flavorful. I wish the rice would’ve had some type of seasoning in it just to give it some type of flavor. It was just rice, nothing spectacular. The chicken definitely made up for it!The pork chops were very tender, they were unfortunately a little on the bland side. She added salt, pepper and even asked for A1. If they can get it to where there is seasoning coming through those pork chops would definitely be a 10!The mac & cheese was cheesy, but it too, was a little bland. She wasn’t a fan of the green beans, she said there was a sweet taste to them. I don’t particularly like green beans but I did try them. I personally didn’t taste anything sweet to them but then again, I literally had one piece on my fork lol.We will definitely be back!”

There's no possible way to leave this completely awesome place any less than full and maybe even stuffed. With a little bit of effort one could leave this wonderful restaurant not only on a full belly but have some new friends too. “Our first time in the Byrdstown area and we were happy to find this place. I got chicken parmesan with baked potato and garlic bread and glazed carrots. Good size portions and good price, but the BEST chicken parmesan I've had in ages. My wife got country fried steak with green beans and potato kegs (think double size tots with corn and onion in soft center). Shortstaffed, so choose your time to visit wisely. So glad to have found this restaurant. It is now in my Top 5 anywhere. If you're in the Keys, go to Burdine's; if you're near Pulaski, go to the Hickory House; if you're in Spartanburg, go to the Beacon; if you're in Carrabelle, go to the Fisherman's Wife; if you're anywhere even in the rough vicinity of Byrdstown, go to the Country Kitchen. You won't be disappointed.”

“Our first visit here. My wife, myself, our eldest grandson and his girlfriend were visiting us for the first time since we moved to Livingston. We ordered lunch, each of us had something different. Service was quick, great, and friendly. We were served tortilla chips and salsa as an appetizer. Both were very good. Our food was served quickly. Everyone enjoyed our meals very much. I don't recall what everyone had, but I had a poblano pepper plate, and it was the best I've had in quite a while. No complaints from any of us. Our server was attentive, but not overwhelming so. Just right. We will definitely be regulars here! I can highly recommend Casa Nueva Mexican Restaurant!”

“Nice little sandwich and beer shop. More of a bar then a sandwich shop. The food was very good. I chose to get the giant catfish sandwich and fries. When they say giant they mean giant!My sandwich was almost a foot long and very good. I got my fish fried. The fries was cringle cut and crunchy, just the way I like them.”

“We love going to our local DQ. During baseball, basketball, soccer season this is where we celebrate usually. Get any flavor ice cream. Very clean.Parking: building is located on a very steep incline.Kid-friendliness: Kids love getting ice cream or chicken tender basket with gravy.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp. However parking lot is steep. I recommend parking to the left side of drive thru speaker on top of the hill. I believe there is handicap parking there. Ramp is nearest there.”

“I didn't get a picture. But when I walked in for my to go order the cashier was very sweet and helpful. I ordered the roasted garlic spinach ravioli with Alfredo sauce. It was SO good. It was packed full of flavor and the homemade Alfredo just sent it over the edge. Absolutely delicious. My only small complaint was that I didn't get enough of them in a portion I could've eaten a whole other plate they were that good. I was even taking my spoon and scooping up the cheesy Alfredo goodness long after the raviolis were gone haha. If you're in Livingston you have to try this place”

“Cleanest Subway I’ve been to. So festively decorated for Christmas. Coloring books and crayons out for the kids. All the welcoming touches you wouldn’t expect from a Subway.”

“I enjoy KFC and enjoy taking people there to eat. This restaurant needs a makeover, it is in very bad condition. It needs remolded very bad. That does concern me, if the dining area is as bad as it is, then the kitchen must be worse. I do hope one day so they clean it up, or build a new building. Because I really do enjoy eating there.”
