A cool old (circa. 1960) place to stay with modern amenities. The original restaurant and trading post was destroyed by fire several years ago. The restaurant is now behind the original location. They have good food and live music. I will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Just ok, would not return.Atmosphere is ok with the live music and decor.Food was nothing special. Chicken strips were the best part. Pulled pork had no flavor. Bun was soggy. Sides were ok.Worst part, the waitress's hair was in my slaw when she brought out our plates. Put the ponytail in the back, honey.

We ate at Jim Oliver's years ago and I still remember how amazing the food was. There's just something about southern comfort food like shrimp and grits, greens, and bbq that make you feel good.

Excellent customer service! The kitchen made a mistake on my order (they put mustard on my cheeseburger). I really did try to eat it & ate about 1/2 of the burger, but just couldn't eat the rest of it . . . I really do not like mustard! Our server offered me a new burger. We really needed to get back on the road,so I told her that it wS NOT necessary. As we were getting ready to leave, she brought a new freshly grilled cheeseburger out to me (without the mustard) AND informed me that she had removed the charge for my burger from our bill! You just don't get better customer service than that! My husband enjoyed his order of smoked sausage & fried okra, & YES, we will be back.

Stopped here while on a hiking trip in the area. We did not care for our food much. I'm sure it was canned and frozen. Lot's of couches in the place and no bar at all. We did not have any beer while we were their, but the poor couple next to use had 3 cans of beer fiz out when opened. He looked over to use on the third beer while he carefully opened relieve the pressure. Found out from a local why they do that. Not a good place, bad vibes IMO.

I'll give it a 3 because we liked the musicians I guess. Had 3 beers in a can and they each exploded open like they were violently shaken before serving. By the 3rd one I opened slowly and was able to avoid a mess. But I had a pile of beer wet paper towels on the sticky table and no one offered assistance. They need to learn how to barbecue and cook too. A bunch of hicks.

Service was good. Waitress was sweet. Food was not good. Not a great menu option for a smoke house.

Our server was very nice and paid attention to us. The food was great, and there was a lot of it! The music that was playing was wonderful. We went in near closing, but never felt rushed to leave. I would definitely go back.

Great atmosphere, loved the live music and rustic feel. Can't go wrong with the honky tonk setting not from the area but DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK!!

Stopped here on a road trip and were delighted to enjoy open mike live music for our Sunday lunch. Pulled pork was generous and delicious, lots of fries and large portions of beans and slaw. I added a bit of sugar to my slaw,( I prefer sweet slaw) but they were fresh and yummy. Server was very sweet and we were served very fast. It was very cool and foggy, but would love to return on a pretty day to enjoy their outdoor patio. Decor was a unique, but if you like off the beaten path type of places, you’ll love it here!!!

Cozy little place, the food was okay. Definitely felt hillbilly-ish, but in a good way.

The food came out fast, and it was served hot. We both had the pulled pork plate which included 2 sides. The food was good, and good sized portions. This is a bbq/smokehouse restaurant. They do have salads, cole slaw, vegetables if you do not eat meat.
