Great place. Really good food and service.

We stopped here on top of Monteagle mountain as the severe storms that pounded Nashville with tornadoes were going through and it was only 30 minutes before they were closing. They were incredibly welcoming and shared concerns as well. We were never rushed, food was fresh and excellent. They were extremely gracious and went above and beyond as I guess we were all worried about family and driving in the severe conditions. Was blown away once we went inside at how nice and modern the facility is. This is a hidden gem and we will now make an effort on all our trips to Atlanta, Chattanooga, Guntersville Lake to stop on the mountain and enjoy the food and hospitality in the future.Kid-friendliness: Great environment family, students, adults or friends. Entertainment and sections for eachWheelchair accessibility: Very accommodating and open environment. Tables and booths not stacked on top of each other. Bathrooms extremely open, CLEAN, modern and accessible.

Driving by several times, we were never sure if this place was open or maybe just didn't exist anymore due to the unkempt nature of the outside. Looked it up and saw it was rated 4.4 and actually open so thought we would try it. Went for lunch today and were seated at an odd table in a booth that was so low, it touched out knees. They did move us after we asked. Looking around, the place was just dirty and nasty. Cob webs everywhere, the glass sign on the wall in the booth area was splattered with who knows what and peeling at the bottom. The place was just run down. The food was pretty subpar. I ordered a trio plate with your pick of several items listed on the menu so I asked for a burrito, chalupa and an enchilada. What I got was a tostada and 2 things that may or may not have been enchiladas. They were all chicken that was ridiculously salty. My husband ordered a combo plate and even though there was no chicken in his dish, he ended up with some type of chicken thing that probably was my chalupa. He agreed that the chicken was super salty! There wasn't an actual bill, we just went to the counter and he calculated our two items, which took longer than it actually should have for just two items, and came up with $28. Now my item was only supposed to be $8.99 and I didn't know what my husband's was until I asked him after we left, which was $14. So with only those two items, it should have been only $23. I wasn't in the mood to argue so I let it be. Overall, I wouldn't recommend or go back. If you're willing to take your chances, make sure you know what you're paying for when you pay the bill.

We enjoyed ourselves but we waited a long time for service due to under staff. It was pricey but delicious.... They really tried with the short staff that they had.

Random place to eat once you roll into town. Its not mind-blowing, but it is reliable to get some decent Mexican food. Service was incredible too.

The outside doesn’t do this place justice. The food is fantastic and the prices are low. Will definitely go back anytime we are in Monteagle!

We arrived around 6pm on Saturday night and there wasn’t many other patrons. We ordered our food and it was good. Our party got the steak nachos and fajita burrito -both were very tasty and great portion sizes. I was impressed with Romaine lettuce being on our order and not iceberg. The child’s quesadilla was just a mini soft taco shell with cheese inside. It was good though. The service was strange after we received our food. Our waitress did not check on us and we kept trying to get her attention to let her know we were ready for the check. She told us the check was upfront. We would not have known this since we were from out of town. The food was good and that is important, but the service could have been better.
