LOVED the pizza and calzones! When went when it was very low key and quiet, which we loved. Our server was amazing and so friendly, I believe her name started with a S, maybe Shanna. Will be back next time we come through. ☺

The food is overpriced for the quality and taste. I have called to place to-go orders over the past few years and felt very disrespected. We will not be giving our business to this restaurant anymore due to the lack of respect when trying to place an order. My family eats at home the majority of the time but it’s sad when I did need something local that it is not good for the price and you receive complete rudeness from employees. Will not be back!
Great place for the whole family. The food is really good and our server, Meagan, was very nice. One of the most pleasant people I have met on this vacation. My son and I will be returning.
So disappointed in an order to go we received yesterday from Papa Rons. Ordered 2 medium pizzas and 2 Tiramisu’s. Got 2 12” pizza’s was told their medium was a 16” $60 dollars. If i had realized they were charging this much and the pizza seemed different than it was when we first started getting it there. For those prices we won’t be doing to go pizza any more. Desserts also looked like it was 1 split into 2 containers. I didn’t take pictures unfortunately. I don’t like to write bad reviews but people should know what they are going to get for that kind of money. So i guess their mediums or regular are a 12” pizza. Paid cash by the way so that did not include the credit card surcharge.

I hate to leave negative reviews but felt families needed to beware! We showed up at 7 pm on Friday night and they weren’t super busy except all their large tables were full. They had several little tables open with nobody seated outside. We had 2 adults, 2 children and one 2 year old who could have done a booster. They didn’t offer to accommodate us at all. Didn’t offer to pull up another seat, and didn’t offer to move two little tables. When we asked to sit outside they said it was supposed to rain (but it wasn’t raining and it seemed all the rain had passed). They told us it would be 45 minutes to an hour. And stared at us until we left. I was so excited to eat here for the first time… I can understand if they were slammed, but no accommodations when they had several small tables open?? Not sure we’ll return to try them.

I would consider myself a pizza connoisseur of sorts. An excellent pizza must have flavorful dough which has been cooked to perfection - not too thick and not too thin. It also must have phenomenal sauce — not too salty or acidic. Finally, quality toppings is what makes it all come together. It’s not easy to find a pizzeria who can meet all three of these categories on one pie. Papa Ron’s can. Although I do t live in the Monteagle area, anytime I’m in town one of my must stops for food is here. The BBQ chicken pizza is my go-to! Love it, and wish this place was closer to home!

My chicken piccata was delicious, as was my daughter‘s lobster bisque, and my son’s fettuccine Alfredo. However, the service was incredibly slow. We had to go and search up a waitress 3 times to take our order. It was a busy restaurant, but not overly so — only half full when we arrived. However, we waited at least 15 minutes to have our order taken and then another 30 to 40 for our food to arrive.

This was a wonderful surprise on our day drive. The bread was hot and the butter tasted great.
My husband said it was the best manicotti he'd had. They have beer, but currently, no wine. They're working on the license.
My girlfriend ate here and she had the worst stomach pain of her life afterwards. She has a weak stomach, but it was especially bad this time.
Food was alright, nothing amazing, but wasn’t awful.

Great place to eat! The bread and garlic butter was amazing!!
We landed 🛬 in Nashville TN it was a brutal flight since none of us had any sleep at all. We rented at the Monteagle TN, Airbnb and we needed to check in by 4 PM but before we check in we had to find somewhere to eat so stopping first at the CVS for water etc., across the street from the CVS there is a Pap Ron’s Pizza & Italian Steakhouse Restaurant. We went inside. Sat down. The lady took our orders and I ordered steaks 🥩, the other guys ordered whatever as you see in the pictures. It is not a 5 star ⭐️ it’s a 4 stars ⭐️ in our opinions. However, the rolls were absolutely fantastic! The people were friendly the food was the only thing in town since it’s a small town and thank goodness 😅 CVS was there too. All in all, food, service, and atmosphere are for the towns people and their families. Anyone who wants to try them out it’s a must! Because that’s the only place that’s has some good foods to eat for a good decent meal. like it, maybe 🤔 I will order something else if I ever return to that town.

The pizza was really good, much better than anticipated being such a small town. If I'm ever traveling thru there I would definitely eat there again!
