We stayed in one of the cabins which not only had its own fireplace inside, but a hot tub. Its as rustic as you can get, with no frills but perfect for us. While it is a little outdated, it had everything we needed. TV with cable, good wifi, full size fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, plenty of towels and wash cloths. Plenty of wood for the fireplace and a porch with rocking chairs. Bed was big and comfortable. Its not your 5 star resort but more like your personal cabin with the necessary amenities. The only set back was the jacuzzi/ hot tub water pressure was so slow it took for ever to fill. Other than that I would say the couch was outdated, but those are minor things. Having the restaurant on-site was a plus. Food was good, portions were amazing and cost was reasonable. Front desk was very courteous. Grocery store, liquor store, restaurants and gas stations all within walking distance. Definitely recommend and we are looking forward to another stay soon.

The Patio was a very interesting place to eat. I had the BBq pork plate and it was a lot of food. In addition to tables they had sofas that you sit back and enjoy the bands when they play.

We stayed in one of the rustic cabins. I didn’t care for it. It was old and smelled like “grandma’s house”…like mothballs. The bathroom sink faucet had toothpaste residue from someone else on it and the whole place didn’t feel real clean. The coffee pot was dirty too. The restaurant on site was good and the music Friday night was fantastic. We’ll be back for a visit but we won’t stay here.Safety: We felt safe here but still won’t be back. The cabin was old, dirty, and smelled of mothballs.

Nice people working here, but this place is a dump. My room was dirty, particularly the bathroom, and it smelled bad. I didn't even want to take my shoes off in there, and when I did, I noticed dog hair had come off on my socks from the floor, which means someone had a dog in there and floor had not been cleaned since then. I also almost couldn't get the door open, and I had to turn handle upward to do it. This motel isn't clean and is in disrepair. I would recommend staying somewhere else if you have the option.

This is so incredibly convenient. Front desk girls have been awesome & accommodated well! Thank you for everything! By far my favorite little spot on my solo trip!Nearby activities: So much hiking & cool little spots to seek out. Front desk will give you a map if you ask & they also recommended an app to me.

We had another reservation fall through and stumbled into the Smoke House. The two young ladies at the front desk (I should have written their names down but we were stressed from the previous issues) were kind, thorough, and accomodating. The cabin was so sweet and cozy. It was a genuine experience we will never forget! And definitely go to the restaurant :)

The staff at the front desk is rude and doesn't know how to treat a guest. My card was charged twice and even though they told the manager has to look into it. They did not tell in a polite manner and was rude.
