What a great place that we found by accident, stopping due to heavy interstate traffic! Great service, amazing food and a great unique atmosphere. Will definitely be back during our next road trip!

I liked it! Service was nice, the waitress was fast and very sweet. I got the hand breaded and fried chicken tender sandwich with onion rings and it was good and hot. The live music was a little gospel focused but nice background noise! Bring your own alcohol if you can/want, grab a sandwich, and listen to the live music for a few hours. I had a great time!

Smoke House is a misnomer. There is nothing there that they smoke. Most of the food was something like Grandma would make, if your Grandma made everything from a can. Service was good, the kitschy atmosphere was ok, not worth stopping.

Service was good. Waitress was sweet. Food was not good. Not a great menu option for a smoke house.

This is a different experience since the fire. Still quaint with a homely vibe. Food was good-fried pies were fantastic.

Pulled pork BBQ is everything you want it to be. We stopped here after a weekend at the caverns when Waffle House was too full and we're glad we did. Polite and welcoming service with a relaxed environment. Great local spot.

The waitress was very nice. However.. my beer was warm and the food cold. Never a fan of chains like this .. but it was terrible.

Pretty generic barbecue joint with junk strategically placed everywhere and the wimpiest $10 hamburger with microwave fries for miles. And what's the story with all the bugs walking up to the restaurant?

Fun place. Portions were big! We had pork chops, pulled pork, sausage/onions/peppers, pork sandwich. Sides: French fries, Brussel sprouts, cucumber salad, green beans. Everything was really good. Side salad came on a dinner plate for $3.95. Nowhere can you get this much good food at the prices! Bonus was live music on Friday night.

NOT the same as what once was. Since the old restaurant burned, they opened a sub-par mediocre shack behind the previous location. I would say this is more of a bar/barn/food truck. It looks like they have live music and a neat space, but this is NOT the same as the old restaurant. We got the pulled pork (plate, salad, and sandwich) and I couldn't find any evidence of smoking in any of our three meals. The meat tastes like it was cooked in a crock pot and then reheated in a microwave. The salad had big chunks of lettuce and there was no care taken in keeping the center hard part out of the salad. The fried okra was out of a bag. The only part of the meal that interesting was the brussel sprouts, but after eating a few, I began to realize how much grease was in them and they hadn't been properly trimmed prior to cooking. I feel bad for the owner, if it is the same owner as the restaurant that was there, what a loss for them and for the rest of us who have memories of what once was.

This place burned down & they've opened a grill out back. The burgers were paper thin & tasteless. The fried pickles were okay, but served with some sort of sweet dipping sauce. It was odd. Everything was served on paper, plastic, & styrofoam. The atmosphere was neat & the fried brussels were good. Service was friendly, but super slow. I won't be back.

This place is horrible. Food was absolutely horrible and way over priced. We payed 30 dollars for 2 freezer to grill type hamburgers. Some generic onion rings and some half cooked fries. Best thing we had was a glass of ice water. Do not recommend this if you are looking for good food or for a smoke house. I think the only thing smoking was the owner when he made the menu and ordered the food. I review everywhere I eat and this is bottom of the barrel for something called a "smoke house"

The place is really cool. Fried food was great the pulled pork was OK. Was disappointed with how little smoked food they had to choose from. Definitely a cool place to hang out and

Horrible food. No idea how it has so many stars. Food was terrible and the lady serving us made my 71 year old grandpa walk back out to the truck to get his ID before serving him a beer. When the law states anyone appearing over the age of 50 doesn’t need to be carded and believe me he doesn’t look anywhere close to 50. She decided to tell us the law was different than it actually was. Save your time and go somewhere else
