This spot is a total gem in Monterey! The food was amazing—I tried five different dishes and loved every one of them. Our server was awesome too, super friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Sapori di Napoli is a gem for Italian food lovers! Their dishes are fresh and flavorful! The portions are very generous (a bit too much for me), the quality and service is unparalleled! Highly recommended! So glad to have this in our backyard!

Delicious food and atmosphere! We ordered several appetizers & entrees. There was not a single thing we didn’t like! The bruschetta was our absolute favorite- even my non-tomato-eating daughter enjoyed every bite including the fresh & delicious tomatoes!

One of the top Italian restaurants! The dishes were skillfully prepared to order and serving portions were remarkably generous. If you’re searching for authentic Italian food, this establishment will meet your expectations.

Food is out of this world! Ate twice with them , tried 4 different dishes between my wife and me. Food is extremely flavorful, delicious, & definitely can see the expensive ingredients shine through! We will be a long time patron of this awesome restaurant. Great vibes, great staff! Manager is on point! We are fortunate in Monterey to have such a Gem!

We were super excited to go and try this new place! We heard that it is busy at times and knew they had limited hours. Tonight, 12/7, I called to see if they were open and what time they were open until. The lady that answered the phone was very rude acted like I was stupid and said “As the website says we are open and we are open until 8” I asked if there was a wait and she rudely said “we are cleaning off a table now so there won’t be a wait then.” No idea how the food is or atmosphere is but based on how rude that employee was and how I felt I was just annoying her on the call we won’t find out as we won’t be giving our business to a place that treats people that way.

Atmosphere amazing! Our sever paid us no attention, we had to ask other servers & the bar tender for water refills and other things. Two out of four meals were not hot at all. We were given pasta with red sauce with our Chicken Marcella's, not very tasty mix. What was supposed to be an evening with a great meal and family we haven’t seen in two years, turned out to be a waste of $200! Should have ordered take out and stayed home.

I really struggled to give this a neutral review. The food was good. I enjoyed the experience. The cannoli was FANTASTIC and the food was hot. The reason I struggle with not giving it a 5 stars is because they accidentally gave us the wrong wine bottle. My husband pointed out the $35 one, but we were given the $100+ bottle and drank it without knowing it wasn’t the correct one. My husband didn’t tell me this when the bill came because he didn’t know what to do besides pay for it, and I couldn’t address it in person and that’s on us so that’s why I’m struggling writing this review. I’d love to give it the full 5, it’s just that’s quite a bit of money to accidentally mess up. It ended up being around $284 for an appetizer, bottle of wine, two entrees, and dessert.

Overall a nice place yo enjoy a dinner out. The sauce on the veal was lacking flavor.
