Nice local diner that could be great if the food had an overhaul. Service is great. One of those places where people know each other and the atmosphere is lovely. But all the food tastes frozen or canned and is not prepared well. Even the chef's salad was messed up. The best things about a diner should be local home cooked food and baked goods. You just don't get that here. Store bought cakes, canned pudding, frozen fries, overcooked pot roast, instant mashed potatoes...
Absolutely nothing to do with Davy Crockett or anything historically ! Just a clean restaurant stark white. The service was great, food was very good! I’d go back. It is not a tourist attraction.
I took my granddaughter there and she's a really picky eater.She cleaned her plate ,I was pleasantly surprised.This time I had the BLT and it was loaded with bacon.Great service and we will go back.
