I really enjoy the variety of food El Charrito offers! Most recently, I ordered two steak tacos and chicken soup to go.
The food was decent and comforting overall, but there’s room for improvement. The tacos were flavorful, but I’m not a fan of the machine manufactured tortillas… they really hold this place back. Handmade tortillas would take the tacos to the next level!
The chicken soup and chips were a little too oily for my liking. I ended up eating about half of the soup and like 4 chips. Still, I appreciate the hearty, homey vibe this place delivers, and I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!

Amazing food! But the service tonight was horrible.
Was charged $9.99 each for two items. One was 7.50 on the menu, the other was 9.50. That, a beer, and tax cost a total of $27.14. Today my total was updated to $31.14, meaning the host wrote his own gratuity on the receipt after I left. I will not be back and will seek legal action.

Taco salad looked like a diaper full of diarrhea. Genuinely one of the worst Mexican meals I've had in 50+ years.

This was our 1st time trying this place. I got the nachos fajitas. My husband got the chimichanga meal. Kids got cheese Enchilada kids meal. I thought it was so good. I loved the cheese dip. I will definitely try this place again.
