Nice place, good people, medium price. I had enchiladas mole con pollo, the flavor was quite good although I'm not used to mole being sweet, probably had too many gringos complain about noon-sweet chocolate. The salsa has prominent garlic flavor but was not very picante. the queso was thin and could have been helped with a bit of pico de gallo. But everything was authentic enough and tasted quite good, and the amount served was on the high side.
Some of the best Mexican food around! They have some very authentic taste and recipes. The parking is difficult but there is a reason why. If you haven’t found a mexican restaurant you love in Morristown then this is the place you need to try!
I really enjoy the variety of food El Charrito offers! Most recently, I ordered two steak tacos and chicken soup to go.
The food was decent and comforting overall, but there’s room for improvement. The tacos were flavorful, but I’m not a fan of the machine manufactured tortillas… they really hold this place back. Handmade tortillas would take the tacos to the next level!
