I stop at Salsarita’s in Morristown, TN almost every Sunday after church. I order the same dish every single time: a bowl with extra steak and extra chicken. Today I added guacamole with my usual toppings. I watched the young man place the chicken and steak in my bowl. Neither portion was “extra” and I actually reminded the young man that I requested extra. He rudely said, “That was extra.” I was puzzled but did not argue. When I got to the checkout, the young lady promptly reminded the cashier after I told him that I had “extra” chicken and steak. My total was shockingly $20.08 which is more than I paid for my dinner two days ago at Chili’s across the street. I expected to pay more for “extra” but I also expected to actually get extra. I’m a professional in the area and preach good customer service to my team. What I experienced today was quite disappointing and will make me rethink my lunch choice in the future. I don’t expect free food but I do expect fair portions of when I pay for it. Disappointed.

The employees are very rude, we walked in and the cashier with long brown hair huff and puffs and rolls her eyes. I’m sorry if you don’t like your job maybe go somewhere els.

I visit this location often. The staff is usually friendly and accommodating. This evening I ordered my usual, a small burrito. A worker put 3-4 tiny strips of pork in a small dipping cup before placing onto my shell. I was stunned because I had never seen them do this. She handed it off down the assembly line and I asked is that all the pork I’m getting? She said yes, 2 ounces for a small is all you get. I said wow, that’s hardly any meat. She never said anything more. I was still absorbing this along with realizing my burrito barely had one bite of meat. I felt like I was eating a vegetarian burrito. I couldn’t even taste the tiny bit of pork placed on there. I understand portion control, but this was absolutely a rip off as expensive as their food is. This is a terrible way to measure out meat, in a dipping cup meant to hold 2 full ounces. If you’re going to use this method, then pack it down so people at least get their 2 ounces worth!

Was told to come to an interview and when I got there the interviewer wasn’t even there. Should have been contacted about that. Poor service.

Horrible leadership at this location. A family member had a scheduled interview today with the manger and when he showed up (on time), he was told that the manger wasn’t there and needed to come back another day. What a shame from a chain that provides tasty food.

We really wanted to like the food here, because we love Chipotle, but it’s over an hour away. The atmosphere is nice and service is good, but the food is nothing compared to Chipotle flavor, quantity and quality. Plus we spent more money here for less than what we get at Chipotle. Really wish it would have been equal to or even better than Chipotle.

Just average. I had no idea what to expect walking in. Quickly thought Chipotle as I walked to the front. It was no Chipotle. Portions were small. Bowl was half full at best and the flavor just wasnt there. It was fresh and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The place was clean. I would not recommend.

Barley any meat on my quesadilla, skimped on my toppings. Paid $24.00 for my wife and I and we both left hungry and felt cheated. The tiny measuring spoon they use to add toppings should be twice the size considering the prices. Music was way too loud as well......... We will never be back. And please stop asking for tips at the check out!

First and last experience with this poor excuse for Mexican food or any other food for that matter. Portions were very small for the cost of the meal. 2 people was 32 dollars and I left hungry. Food flavor bland. Horrible disappointment.

Quick. Build your own burrito, tacos, or taco bowl. You know it's fresh because you watch them make it.

We were hungry, she wanted a good burrito. I go big so I suggested Salsarita's, because their burritos bust the seams. I ordered a steak Burrito. It got me full but it wasn't delicious at all. It had no flavor. If you want a GOOD burrito, please go to a Mexican restaurant, because Salsarita's IS NOT IT!
