the girl that took our order was very kind. however, my entire groups order was bad. both quiches were cold, mine tasted like it was going spoiled: the egg tasted rotten in a way. we got sausage gravy and it was ice cold, but we could tell it had been microwaved because the bowl was hot. even the coffee was cold. it was disappointing as this was my first experience ~ don’t think we’ll be back sadly ):
10/10!! Amazing coffee shop with a genuine focus on community. Thankful for an owner that will boldly talk about his faith and the goodness of God.

Their gluten free muffins were great, love that they have gluten free options. My mom was obsessed with the breakfast power bowl and the lattes we got were great as well. Will be returning!

Cute little cafe with great drinks, treats and food, and selling little crafts from locals. Comfy indoor seating you can only find with a local shop. Grateful to have this place in Mt

I wasnt sure how to rate this overall. I have been going to Billy Goat since it first opened, so it has changed hands quite a few times. The good thing is the atmosphere has always stayed the same and is wonderful. The current staff is friendly. However the price of a seasonal latte has gone up significantly. $7.63 with tax for a small. I love supporting small business but it is difficult to do so at those prices, especially when other local businesses do not charge as much. At my most recent visit, I ordered a seasonal small latte and it tasted great but was basically cold. I tried it while sitting it my car, so went back inside to ask for it to be warmed up. Based on what I could hear behind the counter it sounded like they rewarmed it but resteaming it? That made it hot, but took away whatever flavor it had. At that point I was already back in my car and did not want to go back in again. I also got the keto cheesecake to have later at home. It was pretty bad. I don't know though if it was "normal" for a keto item or not. As much as I love the atmosphere, I don't see myself returning because of the prices and lack of consistent quality.

The baristas were the only redeeming part of the experience which was made wholly uncomfortable by the owner. He's so painfully invasive and made terribly unfunny comments. He seems incredibly unaware of his own shortcomings; I just wanted coffee. I could sense the uncomfortability in the workers. The worst part is that he didn't even know what the coffee I ordered was and just looked awkwardly at the barista for help like the dumb, loud kid in class. Why are you behind the counter if you don't know the things you sell? He's like a real life Ryan from the Office except there is no camera zooming and you have to sit with his ineffectiveness. I think it would bode well for him if he spoke less and worked more. Would come back if he wasn't there.
Edit after response: A few things. One, this is absolutely you lurking on your own google reviews, hiding beneath the guise of a made-up assistant that is as real as the compliments you gave yourself. You referring to yourself in third person was especially alarming as well as how you completely invalidated my experience which is a very offensive thing to do women in 2025. Second, if there really is an assistant, how is it ethical to be working them far past working hours and late into the night? Be serious. Third, you forgot the comma after feedback and before Victoria.
Great community spot and delicious coffee! Pro veteran which is a plus. The owner is very nice and ensures all feel welcome!!

I used to enjoy the Billy goat Café, but the past few times that I’ve been there the coffee and food has gone downhill. Today I got an iced caramel latte and it tasted like old drip coffee watered down with some ice in it and my gluten-free biscuit tasted old and was actually pretty tough to get through. Of course I finished my sandwich because I was starving this morning, but I ended up throwing the whole coffee away. The staff was nice and the drive-through was convenient, but I don’t think I will be returning here unfortunately. :(
