We have never been here, in town visiting family. My sister had shrimp and grits. I had the catfish sandwich. I was disappointed. It had tartar sauce lettuce and sweet pickles and 3 little nuggets of catfish. I was expecting a fillet. I don’t like tartar. My fault for not asking what was on it. I could have gone up and asked to speak to someone, again my fault. Very busy. The bonus, we got free banana pudding for being 1st time patrons.
We visited this restaurant so my friend could try the mac and cheese. I ordered the fried brussel sprouts an absolute 10/10. The brussel sprouts were crispy, well-seasoned, and filling. The service was warm, engaging and prompt. If you are someone who appreciates southern hospitality, nice ambience and good food please consider visiting.
I am having a hard time trying to figure out why you expect a tip for taking my order.
