She and I were crazy about the brisket, tender and juicy. Will definitely order it again. BTW, I liked the atmosphere of the dining area. I believe we have a local BBQ place that Memphis folks would want to make the drive for.”

“On September 19 around 7pm - I visited Mandarin Wok and ordered the chicken curry. I signed the receipt but accidentally left the tip section blank. The next day, I noticed I was charged $20.27 for what should have been a $16 order.

I called the restaurant, and Sophia kindly answered. She invited me to come in so we could resolve the issue together. When I arrived, she patiently pulled out every receipt from that day and worked with me to find mine. At first, my card number didn’t match any of the receipts she showed, which made the process take longer. Still, she remained patient, understanding, and determined to help.

Eventually, we located my receipt, though it displayed a different card number. Despite the confusion, Sophia contacted their support team, who confirmed that I had been accidentally overcharged. They assured me a refund would be issued within the week and apologized for the mistake. They also promised that if the refund didn’t process, I could come back to receive it directly at the restaurant.

I truly appreciate Sophia’s patience and honesty throughout this experience. It’s rare to find businesses that handle situations like this with such integrity. Because of her excellent service, I highly recommend Mandarin Wok and will definitely be returning!”

Huey’s in Millington is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time! Dorothy and I were visiting her brother and his wife and decided on lunch before heading back to Cincinnati. After finding several other spots closed on Monday, we landed at Huey’s—and what a blessing that was! The restaurant is spotless, welcoming, and buzzing with military folks from nearby Naval Support Activity Mid-South. Our server, Lisa, kept us laughing with her humor and charm while delivering some of the quickest service I’ve ever experienced.

We ordered two Catfish Strips with Tater Tots/Sweet Potato Fries, a Salmon Filet with a Veggie Plate, and a Reuben Sandwich. Everything arrived piping hot and perfectly prepared. The catfish was the best I’ve tasted anywhere—crispy, flavorful, and downright addictive! Greg had the same but with the sweet potato fries. Dorothy loved her salmon, and Jackie raved about the Reuben. Great location, friendly atmosphere, outstanding service, and five-star food at blue-collar prices!”

“Came in about 3pm or so on a Saturday. Lunch crush was over. Seated immediately. Chips and salsa on the table quickly and my drink was served very quickly.

They offered the lunch menu despite the fact I was a bit late. The fajita bowl was awesome. My waiter noticed the first 2x1 margarita was nearly gone and brought my second before I even asked. Just amazing, awesome service and superb food.”
