Our first experience was petty solid, so we decided to come back. Ordered a couple of the same appetizers and an entree. The calamari tasted like it was cooked and then soaked in old oil. The bartender did an ok job but was absent quite a bit. Had to ask for silverware, water, etc. It was an ok experience, and we will give it another try since the first time there was pretty good. Maybe an off night, it happens.

Went on Saturday night, sat at the bar, had 2 really good sangria's. I highly recommend the blackberry option. Steak was good but Alfredo was not good, penne pomadoro was ok and saute spinach was just ok.

Carraba’s Italian Grill may very well be the worst restaurant’s my family and I have tried since moving to Murfreesboro.
Honestly was not expecting the food to be so bad based on their reviews but unfortunately we were all disappointed. They appeared to be somewhat similar to a Johnny Carino’s that I used to love back in CA, not sure if they have any affiliation. Based on the huge difference in food quality I’d say otherwise.
Now I’m not sure if it’s just this location but whoever is cooking the food is VERY salt happy. Almost every item we tried was just overly salty and hard to consume.
My husband and I got the mozzarella marinara for appetizer, my sister and her husband ordered the classic combination. Everything was salty. The guys had agreed to eat the calamari since us ladies don’t eat seafood but they didn’t even want to touch it after a couple bites because the breading was too salty. Same thing for the breading on the mozzarella sticks, a little burned and wayyy too salty. The cheese filling was good though.
For our main dish my husband and I decided to share the fettuccine Carraba and the Alfredo sauce was, again, very salty. We did also order the garlic bread tower to go along with our meal, my husband said it was too salty for him. We would have ordered dessert since some of the items they offer sound appetizing but honestly after the letdown from everything else, we decided against it.
Honestly whoever is working the kitchen needs to severely cut down on the amount of salt they use. It’s horrendously un-appetizing.
We did tell our waiter, Brett M., that everything was salty and all he did was offer an apology. Definitely won’t be coming back here ever again and I would strongly recommend for no one else to waste their money at this establishment. Would be 0 stars from me if that were an option!

Food and service were excellent. I understand trying to keep the cooking area cooler, but I don't enjoy having to wear my coat inside to eat, plus unless you eat very fast the food gets cold on your plate. I can hear the a/c running and it is 36 degrees outside. Not pleasant sitting here to eat.

Servers were rude and ignored me when I asked where I pick up my take out order at.
What we ordered wasn't all that great. Maybe an off night or just not something we should have ordered, but the service was great. We mentioned our concern to our waiter and immediately he offered to get something else for us. We chose another dish and it was okay. Still not amazing or anything, but they comped both meals, so definitely good service, just not the food for us

Murfreesboro's Carrabba's Italian Grill serves delectable, real Italian cuisine in a welcoming, family-friendly setting. My fettuccine weesie was delicious, with properly cooked shrimp, creamy sauce, and fresh toppings. The service was also exceptional. The encounter was first-rate overall, and the atmosphere was friendly and tidy. A must-try for anyone in the mood for delicious Italian cuisine!

We went for lunch just recently. A lot of restaurants in Murfreesboro have struggled with quality and service since Covid and we are always pleased with the consistency of good food and service. Our server, CJ, was fantastic.
