The place is very nice, the bar has many drink options, and the atmosphere and service were the best. If you have the opportunity to go, do it, you won't regret it. The food, especially the burgers, is delicious.
Visited Five on Black Kitchen & Spirit House with my daughter. This is Mitchell Murphree's third spot in Murfreesboro, and he did an exceptional job with this place.
First off...the ambiance PLUS the upper and patio outdoor seating make for a wonderful evening if the weather is right. We sat out on the patio, and it was a beautiful night. They have an extensive bar, wine, beer, and specialty drink list along with flights of different spirits should...

We celebrated a birthday at 5 on Black, and it was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond bumping up the kids’ orders after they arrived late from a soccer tournament. Such a thoughtful and kind team. Great food, friendly service, and a perfect place for a celebration!
