This place is going downhill.

The customer service is horrible. The ladies working the counter act like they don’t want to be there. Every interaction makes it feel like I’m an inconvenience. I’ve been going to thus bakery for six years and made the decision today would be my last visit. Hire people who invest in the company. Otherwise you won’t keep long term customers who stay loyal even when prices increase.

Customer service is the most important factor for any establishment.

Do better.

We have been a repeat customer at Julia's Homestyle Bakery in Murfreesboro, Tennessee for a little over three years! When traveling cross country we will take the longer route and sincrinize our time so that we can stop at Julia's during our trips.

Julia's is the absolute, most delicious, scrumptious, decitant bakery we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying! The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting! And, the Customer care is superb, second to none, on point, professional, welcoming, and very pleasant!

We were originally visiting a few years ago sometimes Weekly on our way to Dickson, TN taking my daughter to her truck 🚛 for work from Woodstock, Georgia a suburb of Atlanta. Where we lived over 25 years by way of Farmington Hills, Michigan, and Birmingham, Alabama.

We have lived in several other states in the U.S., from South Dakota to Long Island, N.Y.. Currently residing in a suburb of Oklahoma City, OK and Powder Springs, GA; even while traveling abroad from England to Canada.
We have come to the conclusion and unanimously agree, that we have not found any bakery to possess the special quality, spectacular tastes, and decitant, outstanding flavors, as Julia's Homestyle Bakery in Murfreesboro, Tennessee!🧁💞🥰

My question for Julia's Bakery is; do you make Tea Sandwiches??

There was a bakery in Farmington Hills, MI, that came close to your superbness Ms. Julia; named Mrs. Maddox Cake Shop. They made the most decitant Tea Sandwiches (made with colored cream cheeses, salmon, tuna, egg salad, sweet pickles, sliced olives, while placed, on tiny little breads 🤤 cut in circles and squares).

Mrs. Maddox Cake Shop have recently closed since after the Pandemic. There seems to have not been a Successor, nor any recipes available.

Have you heard of this form of Tea Sandwiches, or do you make them? Or can Julia's Homestyle Bakery create your own version of Tea Sandwiches? 😋🥪💞🥰🙏. Thank you for reading my Google Post!

Stopped in passing through and got a Apple Pie to take home. Was extremely satisfied, was fresh and delicious. Excellent service friendly helpful staff

I ordered a two tier cake from Julia’s Bakery for my daughter’s 7th birthday well in advance- approximately two to three months prior to the pick-up date. The week of her birthday, I called to confirm the order and all was well. My husband went to pick up the cake the morning of her birthday and a nightmare became true. They forgot to make the cake. They rather unapologetically told my husband that he could pick one of their premade cakes out of their cabinet and they would refund us the difference. I was absolutely beside myself. Although we live in the area, we were to be traveling to Gatlinburg early that morning for her party, where lots of our friends and family members would be meeting us from all over the United States to join us in celebrating. After I started calling frantically from home, we were told that they could try to decorate a spare one tier cake that they had rather quickly, using our same color scheme that we had originally requested. With no other option, we agreed. That cake turned out nothing at all like the original so we were sent home with it, as well as a plain white cake from their cabinet. Shortly thereafter, I spoke with management and essentially there was nothing he could do to help us except refund us. He did, however, say that he would call me the following week as they wanted to make this up to us by making us something special for the holiday season. He never did call. Unbelievable. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of apology from the in-store staff that day, the lack of follow-up as promised by management and the ability to trust this business with my future needs. This cake was meant to be the centerpiece for my daughter’s party, and without it, the event was truly ruined from my perspective, not to mention the amount of stress that this put on us on what should have been a seamless 5 minute cake pick-up. We ended up being 2.5 hours late to our own event because my husband had to stand in there for so long while they tried to come up with a solution. I have attached photos of the tiered cake I requested vs. what I ended up with.

Don't trust them. Went into the shop last week to order a german chocolate cake for my son's birthday. They said it's to late to order one for today, but they always have one on hand and if I get there early Monday morning they we have one. Drove 45 minutes and arrived at 8:05. Was told we don't have one today. Don't waste your time go anywhere else. I will make sure I tell everyone I know about the wonderful service they have..

In my subjective opinion, the girls weren’t that friendly and the cake squares were just okay. I won’t go back. I’ve honestly had better cake at Slick Pig.

I spent $6 on a rock hard cupcake including icing which was frozen…. Not pleasing at all.

I shared a photo from pinterest of cupcakes that I wanted for a baby shower. Julia's Bakery knocked it out of the park. They were so beautiful that most people at the shower didn't even know they were real! No one was eating them because of that. That's how beautiful they were. They were such a hit. Thank you so much, Julia's Bakery. You did a great job! :)

Anyone who says the sweets are not worth the price and the customer service is negative is crazy! This place is pure sugar heaven! We come here for a special treat all the time and receive top quality sweets with super friendly CS. I wish we lived closer to town cause I would come here everyday if we could. My waistline would never be the same but it would be worth it!

I’ve been coming here for years to get chess squares and i usually get to pick out the ones I want with the best crust but today the young girls didn’t want to cut it because it will mess it up so I choose to not go here anymore because of them not valuing their customers and laziness !
