Julia’s Bakery exceeded our expectations for our wedding cake and desserts. They took our vision and created our dream cake — it was beautiful! From our very first consultation to the cake delivery the day of the wedding, Julia’s team provided excellent service and care. I did not have a wedding cake when I got married 25yrs ago. For my 25 wedding anniversary I decided to finally have a cake. I was so excited, that I know I bored people at work talking about my cake. I bought my cake topper and a couple of decorations. I sent the picture of the cake I wanted to the baker at Julia’s. The cake I wanted had green and white flowers going down the side of the cake. They made the cake pop. On sept 29 I was to pick up my cake. I had emergency ankle surgery that morning. I had my husband stop by and pick it up on our way home. He did not know what I had ordered. I wanted to surprise him. When I got home I had a few guest who came to see how I was doing and to share our cake. When we opened it, it was just a plain white iced cake with my decorations on it. The flowers were important to the cake. I contacted the baker and she did not seem overly concerned. Then she called back and offered to send someone to get the cake and she would put the flowers on it and send it back. We decided not to do that, because we had guest waiting on cake and coffee. Plus everyone had already seen the cake. Plus I had just had surgery and just did not want to keep everyone waiting. At first she said the flowers were not on the invoice. They were. I will never get my 25th anniversary back. I’m so heartbroken.
