La Siesta is a cozy restaurant with friendly staff and amazing food. The service is excellent, with Eddie providing incredible service. The carnitas are flavorful and tender, while the steak fajitas quesadilla is marinated nicely with plenty of veggies and cheese. The Chile Colorado meal is smoky with a hint of spicy heat, and the meat is tender. The chile relleno, tacos, and enchiladas are highly praised, with beans and rice complementing the dishes perfectly. The carne asada and fajitas are especially recommended for their authentic flavors and perfect cooking. The restaurant is clean and pleasant, creating a cheerful atmosphere that makes it a great place to enjoy a meal with family. Despite the need for a building facelift, the hospitality and good food make it worth a visit, especially if craving delicious Mexican cuisine in middle TN.
